Free at last....Free at last!!!!!!!!!

Well by now I'm sure that most of you have heard the news. And, for those who haven't.........yes it's true, Chase and I have been released from TNA. Now before you go worrying about us, and I do appreciate all of the comments and messages wishing us well. However, this is a good thing for the Naturals. This is a very good thing! Nothing has been stated or reported on any reasons for our release and that's because there wan't one. What I mean is that nobody messed up and/or got in trouble. We were both just at an agreement that there wasn't anything for us to do with the company. We hadn't been on tv in several monthes and TNA wasn't doing anything with us. Chase and I have been extremely unhappy over the past several monthes and this is what we both wanted. So again, thank you for all of your concern regarding the release of the Naturals, but don't worry, I'm sure you all will be seeing us again.......very soon!!!!!

I don't mind Chase Stevens, but to me, everything I've ever read that was an interview or release from Andy Douglas makes him come off like a complete prick. Maybe that's just me, though.

i met both of them last year at a TNA house show, they were nice guys....Chase Stevens was real friendly but Andy Douglas kind of kept to himself and didnt say much.

They wanted to go out and make $50 a show on the indy circuit? Ooooookay...

I really don't see where these guys could land and have a regular, well-paying gig.

I never found these guys interesting, Shane Douglas could have been given something a lot better to work with, but I could be wrong, we'll see where they go from here.

Here's my view/theory.

The Naturals are TNA's version of the Hardys, except they didn't click as well with TNA fans at times. Shane Douglas could've been the Michael Hayes to these two and gotten them over big time, but of course writing was f***ed big time with them. It was like "you get the title shot...wait no you don't cause Shane Douglas says so" for about 3 months which was f***ing rediculous. Then they sorta had Chase teasing the idea of finally not putting up with Douglas' crap, but by that time Andy was already in trouble for not cutting his hair (seriously, what is he, Samson?), and by that point the whole thing was dead in the water anyway.

Yeah, I doubt they were making much on their TNA appearances (probably like $1000 a month if they're lucky). And they sound like they were pretty miserable being jobbers.

I'm sure they can be booked regularly across the indy circuit, and if they work a day or two a week they could probably at least match what they were making in TNA, and be a lot happier doing so.

I'm probably insane for saying this but I'd mark out if they suddenly started showing up on Chikara or PWG DVD's. The Naturals vs. Los Ice Creams - BOOK IT~!

Chase Stevens on his release and other issues with TNA

Chase Stevens posted the following message on his MySpace page (myspace.com/therealchasestevens) regarding The Naturals' release from TNA last week: First off I want to thank everyone for their support and concerns for Andy and I. The bad news is the rumors are true and Andy and I have been released from TNA. I want to thank all my friends in TNA. I had a great time over the years with TNA. TNA has changed this past year and in that change TNA has lost what is important for the company and thats new faces and listening to the fans. TNA has their hands full trying to put a few main guys on tv that has been on tv for a decade now. In my opinion if the fans wanted to truely watch those few guys than they wouldnt have been let go from their other promotions. WCW made the same mistake years ago and in turn we all see the same thing happening again. I have been with TNA since day one and I feel I realy never got my shot to show my talent. Some of you critics will disagree but non of you know the whole story. Everytime I was headed to the top I got heald back for reason I could not help so in return that is what I mean by heald back. I will not bury TNA nor say anything I would not have said to anyone that works there. The good news is Im still a professional wrestler and just because Im not on tv today doesnt mean I wont be on tv tomorrow. I see this as a opportunity to move on and progress my career to build my legacy. Andy will be right beside me the whole time and The Naturals wont be down for long. We are young and talented we have traveled up and down the roads together went through the good and the bad and paid our dues to get where we are. Out with the old in with the new. Its a new day and The Naturals have alot of thinking to do. All you fans that support us we thank you and we wont let you down. See you all soon For all you fans with questions as to why we was let go. That questions still remains I know just as much as you all.
