I didn't pay $200 for the RR set for you to post this here. LOL that cracked me up. I actually have this Rumble on double DVD with Royal Rumble 95. It's horrible. There are so many jobbers in it it's clear the only people with a shot are HBK, Nash and Vader.

Man that must've smarted for Cornette the first time Shawn sent him full-tilt into the ropes when he meant to send him over.
EDIT: Also, Kama coming out to Too Cool's first theme (when they wre Too Much) is bizzare in retrospect.

The ONLY 2 guys who had a shot were HBK and The British Bulldog, and they entered first and second. Imagine it now, Jacob Blu vs. Disesl at WrestleMania XI!

needs to be said, what the wax is that HHH gimmick. It's his blue blood gimmick, where the name Pedigree originally came from and actually made sense.

Kwang winning would have had me marking like an idiot though. Well it would now. Bulldog was actually my favourite that year, the way they played his music then had HBK win bothered me when I was younger . The Headhunters showing up in RR96 was great. Them being pasted and hurled out in short order was not.

I think it would be cool for somebody totally unexpected and random to win the Royal Rumble one year. Like Jerry Saggs of the Nasty Boys, or for the current WWE, Trevor Murdoch. OK, he's a favorite of mine, and I know he works as World Champion, so...Shannon Moore. The idea is to pick the winner at random, with no buildup prior to the rumble, so that it's a huge surprise to the fans. Then, an insane push prior to Wrestlemania. If it works, they win the title, if not they lose the title match. It could be a career builder, it could be the chance it's supposed to be, an instant ticket out of the low card.
OK, maybe it's not a good idea for every year, but they should let a complete dark horse win at least once. It sucks being able to figure out who's gonna win in advance.

I think the winner of the Royal Rumble should have a MITB type contract, where he gets one chance to face the champion before the following RR. That way, the WWE could have a guy they plan on pushing six months from now win the RR and have a solid foundation to base his push on without having to put him in the WM main event right away. With the WM stip, it completely gives away the ending of the RR most years.
