I was wondering, was people in the IWC in the Attitude Era all saying "Oh man atleast back in 95-96 there was Michaels and Bret"?
And what did they complain about the most in 2000, cause 2000 was the best WWF year ever (then 2001) IMO. Had lots of good wrestling and entertainment, in the undercard AND main events. I would think it would prolly be in 2000, about the McMahons always being around, and in 01 about the Invasion...

I'm guessing that in 2000 people complained mostly about the Rock. Most people only appreciated him after he left.

Back in 2000 the IWC didnt exist, back then it was just a disorganised bunch of wrestling fans kicking it in AOL wrestling chat.
Then sometime around 2002 someguy formed the IWC and the wrest is history.

If I remember correctly, in 2000, most people on the net LOVED Trips and hated the Rock. My, how the times have changed.

I clicked on this by mistake, I thought you were talking about the Poffo promotion, ICW...where Randy Savage teamed up with "The Cowboy" and started his "freak out, freak out" gimmick...

I remember when HHH was over with the IWC and people complained about the Rock. Some people (the mentally disturbed) still think HHH is god, but it seems like more people appreciate Rock now.

2000, lets see....this is when I finally got really damn sick of The Rock after liking him for 3 years because he was just a f***ing talking doll of himself that said the same old lame s*** every week. Was THRILLED to see him go. But I did enjoy his "Hollywood" gimmick, that was great. If he ever comes back it better be with that.

In 2000 there was a lot of Rock hate. Also, I remember WCW being made fun of alot for having main eventers who are 40+.

I remember in 2000 people were complaining about the constant Rock/HHH main events. They been feuding off and on since 97 so i guess people wanted something different even though the matches were good. Also there was the usual complaining about undercard favorites not getting pushed enough. As far as WCW and ECW most of the complaints were about the booking and management which was getting worse by the day for both companies.

I remember back in 97/98 when Nitro was dominating the ratings and RAW was picking up steam. We had great angles, awesome matches, huge lead characters, and it was just an amazing time to watch as you were always entertained week in and week out.
What did we complain about though? - "Man, how did RAW not win the ratings tonight?" "WCW must be screwing with the ratings."
- "Bret Hart is right, the USA sucks!" "Love it or leave it!"
- "Goldberg is a DIRECT ripoff of Steve Austin"
- "Why are WCW waiting so long for the Sting/Hogan match?"
- "The NWO is too watered down now with the B-Team"
- "Rocky Maivia is a failed experiment. I don't care that he's 'The Rock' now... they should just fire him."
That's just off the top of my head of what people were complaining around in the old WBS WWF Chat room back in the day. I'm sure there was a lot more.... and now, looking back, it's difficult to believe we complained even when he had it so good.

I always hated HHH and Rock Main events and I didn't watch them back in 97 so what ever. I still hate both of them.

I used to not like Rock because his promos were just as childish as Cena's "poopy" and "you're teh gay!" ones but delivered with more energy. In the ring his finisher kinda irked me even more than Cena's does, it's like the guy is just falling backwards.
That said, I do like the Rock more now that he's gone. /shrug
