I know i'll get flack for this, but Vis is one of the most underrated enhancement guys in WWE, he's a big man who sells the offense really well, can piece spots together, and he's over enough to elicit the crowd to respond to the match.
That Leapfrog Lashley did was insane.

Yeah I liked the match to.
But I thought Lashley was gonna drop him on his head when he went to slam him.
I really wish they wouldnt have cut the Worlds Largest Love Machine gimmick off. I enjoyed it a lot, but apparently it got to over and they decided to cut the legs out from under it.

If it were just a stand alone match (not part two of a gauntlet), and if Vis had been getting any kind of push at all lately (and if Lashley were getting a slightly less super-push), it would have actually been a "very good" match, instead of just "good", to me.
If there had been the drama of "who is going to win", I mean. Without that, it's merely a good filler match.

Especially with the theme music he had for his return. Also, a love machine named "Viscera" just doesn't sound right.

I hate when JR overshills the spinning heel kick Vis does.
I know he's a big man, but these days Vis just falls on his ass and the opponent runs into his foot. Not as impressive as it was in 1995.

I'll say that Vis vs. Lashley was the surprise match of last night for me. Viscera made Lashley look like a million bucks.

And the crowd was hot for Lashley all night, a lot better than the St.Louis crowd. Illinois usually has hot crowds.
Though I didn't see the Lashley/Vis match, Lashley/Shane was good also.

Great match. Viscera is a SEVERELY underrated wrestler, IMO.

Speaking of the crowd, there was one woman in the front row who I just couldn't take my eyes off during every single Lashley match. She was so into his every move, it was ridiculous.

I'll say that Vis vs. Lashley was the surprise match of last night for me. Viscera made Lashley look like a million bucks. Seriously this just shows the difference between Carlito and Lashley as performers. Vis's job is to take the big drop from the guy, and stand there for the other wrestlers to bounce off of, he can bring it in a match. If the other guy doesn't bring it, it's more obviously the flaws of that other wrestler. Case in point, Carlito's sham of a match with Viscera.

I'll say this about Lashley, some may call him a "hoss", but he's definitely not a "gereric hoss", that's for sure. I think so many people have seen enough hugely muscular guys that had little talent that we've assumed that whenever we see a guy that has alot of musclemass that it automatically means that he's just a "generic hoss", I've heard the accusations all the time.
Lashley, in my opinion, is a phenominal athlete, phenominal. I've watched wrestling for a long enough time now wher I can see things in the ring that most people don't see, and while some guys do simple things in there and hold back on the athleticism to tell a story, I can tell by the things thay do that the're a great athlete. Except for Brock Lesnar, I believe that Lashley is the greatest bodybuilder type athlete that WWE's had in the last 10/15 years.
With that though, goes alot of panic. What do you do with a once in a lifetime prodigy like this? They'll feel like they've screwed up if Lashley dosen't get over, so that's where I think the overpush is attributed, and I think it's ruining him. I think Lashley has no physical weakness, but he just has to work on his charactor development. I like the fact that WWE built him up slowly as oppossed to giving him a "Brock" push, so I don't believe he's being "crammed down our throats" like it's been said. I think it's just another example of how everyone wants WWE to push someone, and when they do, all of a sudden he shouldn't be in the main event anymore.
I do think that WWE should drastically work on his charactor though. Why dosen't he have a catchphrase? Why did they have to use the name Lashley in the first place? I think they don't always have to use their real names. He should have been Bobby Knight or something.
I think Lashley's sqush matches should be his gimmick. He should say things like "tonight, you're getting squashed". I think they should put over how great of an athlete he is instead of talking about his power. Although I understand that he can't be doing all kinds of athletic feats in there because it wouldn't make any sense, they should have him throwing mabe a dropkick or two, but have it sold like a huge move that sends them flying across the ring, because any 270 pounder doing that would be a big thing. He shouldn't be doing hurricanranas or anything like that because it won't make sense, although I have no doubt he can do them. Like I said, I don't think Lashley has any physical weaknesses. He just needs a little stronger persona.

How long was this match and how did it go? Was Vis totally squashed?
And seriously.... why Vis? Seems so random since he's a jobber.

I usually look forward to Visceras matches. The guy usually gives a great effort.
