WWE.com lists his debut as "October 1991."
Of the current roster, only Undertaker and Shawn Michaels have been there longer.
(Sure, several years were as a jobber, but if they count it as 1991 it should still stand as valid employment time...)
BTW, Ariel's profile & galleries are long gone, but Scotty's part of the site is still there. Hmmm....

That is just bullshit. If I were Scotty, I'd raise twelve kinds of hell on the way out.

I'm a bit surprised he was released.
Since he wasn't released about 4 years ago, I figured that they kept him around so he could run the house show circuit and get the crowd going in a curtain jerker match just like Funaki.
Wonder what made them decide to suddenly release him now.

Is NOBODY safe now?
What about Funaki, what about La Resistance, what about (insert rarely seen and still hired name here)

If Scotty got the axe then no one's safe. Scotty didn't deserve to be fired. He was their boy. He was their little jobber boy. The WWE has a higher turnover rate than most of the places I've worked to date. What if they go with a one botch, you're done rule from here on out or something? Paranoia in the locker room.

Exactly...they probably forgot he still had a job for the last couple of years. They fixed "THE GLITCH" "He was fired about five years ago, but no one bothered to tell him."

Dupree's gonna be hurled out by his boner, I doubt Sylvan will stay long either, and I'm reasonably sure the odds of Funaki staying are in negative digits.

There is no lower card anymore, is there? Hell, there's barely a middle. Pretty soon, It'll just be Lashley vs. Vince every show, every week, every PPV. Of course they will no longer have refs or commentators as they surely will have fired all of them. And probably No merch tables, no concessions. No pyro or lighting. Pawn of the Titantron and do away with theme music. Fire all of them, who cares?

Is Renee Dupree still around, or did he get canned too?
I forget.
