I'm thinking Scott Taylor wasn't a 16 year WWE Vet... per say. I mean he jobbed on there a few times. He was more of a mainstay in USWA. He didn't wrestle regurlarly in the E until the 'failed' Light heavywieght tourney that included Taylor, Christopher, Sasuke, and some others... I could be wrong... but that would just be unlikely wouldn't it

Kinda sucks he didnt get more of a push since he was around that long. Honestly, they had chances to break him away from the 2 Cool gimmick. I think he was a good enough wrestler that a change of look could have done wonders for him.

i was never a scotty mark, but it's kinda sad to see him go. he was good from an in-ring standpoint. i always thought he would evntually move to a desk job.

Damn, 16 years. That's amazing. I thought he was hired in 94, I was three years off.

"He was fired about five years ago, but no one bothered to tell him." When asked about how he felt being released during a recent phone-in on (insert local radio station call letters here) morning radio show, Scotty was mumbling something about "setting the building on fire..."

Why is it that they fire the ones the people like but bring in no talent hacks like Khali?

Stephanie recently took bigger control over the hiring/firing, and Johnny Ace now answers to her. So... yeah. f*** you, Steph. Scotty was one of your most loyal longterm projects and you throw him out like yesterday's garbage. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Why is it that they fire the ones the people like but bring in no talent hacks like Khali? Oh yeah Scotty Too Hotty was SO POPULAR. How many of his matches have you actually seen since Rikishi left? One? Maybe none? I read stuff like this and I want to poke my eyes out with a fork.

Scotty's first appearence was in 1991, but he wasn't signed untill 1994 when he started his regular appeaerences as a jobber and Maine House show regular. He really didn't get going untill late 1997 with the LH division and then with 2 much in 1998.
He's a good guy and I hope for the best for him

There does that satisfy the terms of your question?

They didn't use him. They didn't need him. He was lucky to have his job as long as he did. He had a helluva run. I don't see what the big deal is with him being released.

Mostly because he seemed like a company guy that didn't mind his status as enhancement talent and could put on a decent match, so we're all confused as to why he suddenly got the axe.

Like I said...people get released from their jobs all the time. Wrestling is no different. He served no purpose anymore and there is no point paying someone who is not making you money so they let him go. Simple as that.
