Who believes the King of the Ring should come back instead of One Night Stand?

I would have had a tournament at Judgement Day or something for the MITB privilege, and not have had Edge immediately win it off Kennedy like that. Win the tournament sure, but not in some random TV match. But they rushed it, and now Edge is the world champion apparently. My way's better.

I didn't even realize they did away with it. So I voted yes. What happens with King Bookah now? Is he just the King forever? I hope not.

I'd have Matt Hardy winning it. For some reason, I see him rising above the rest it seems this year, and for some reason, something is starting to kick with Matt Hardy.
Tommy Dreamer Gregory Helms
Johnny Nitro Jeff Hardy
Kevin Thorn Matt Hardy
Santino Marella Marcus Cor Von
CM Punk Chris Masters
MVP Finlay
Carlito Jimmy Wang Yang
Elijah Burke Kenny Dykstra
Quarter Finals:
Dreamer Nitro
Hardy Cor Von
Punk MVP
Yang (due to Ric Flair, good to intertwine angles) Burke
Semi Finals
Nitro Hardy
Punk Burke (continues their feud)
Finals:
Hardy Burke
Winner: Matt Hardy.
That's what I'd do anyway.

I think a Matt Hardy vs. MVP final would be interesting too. Even a loss for MVP would get him over considering all the whining he could do over it.

ONLY if they make it 3 rounds again. I know most people would say it's boring to watch someone wrestle 3 times in a night, but it adds to the importance and toughness of winning it.

I'd rather see a return to the traditional 4v4 Survivor Series with the remaining Face/Heel (or Smackdown/RAW or something) being put together for the main event.

Yes. With the winner getting a title shot at SummerSlam.
It would be great because:
1. It would, quite simply, give everyone something to do and aim for. Guys who have no direction or are doing nothing of note would suddenly have a purpose. It could also lead into new feuds based on elimination from the tournament or beef built from a tournament match from two guys who wouldn't normally feud.
2. Tournaments rule and there hasn't been one for a long time.
3. Dull TV matches are instantly given a reason when turned into KOTR qualifying matches.
4. It would elevate new guys, not only the winner but everyone involved.
5. It was really, really cool to see guy have 2-3 matches in one night and makes the whole thing seem very dramatic and important as well as testing guys abilities.
6. It would decide the main event at SummerSlam which is a fitting reward, just as the Rumble winner gets the WM title shot. It would make the both PPVs (KOTR and SummerSlam) seem much more important.
7. It was always fun seeing guys who wouldn't normally wrestler each other do so, even moreso now there are 3 brands with many guys who've never locked up.
I can't think of any reason not to do it. KOTR used to be one of my favourite PPVs.

This should be the last year of ONS, to hopefully send RVD off with some dignity. Starting next year, they do an 8-man tourney with all 3 brands (2 if ECW is dead by then) with all matches at the ppv, except for the qualifiers, which will be on TV like in the old days. This year, it will be a Smackdown-exclusive deal again, with the winner getting the #1 contender match against Edge. With Taker and Rey on the shelf, Benoit focusing on the US Title, and Batista just plain sucking, the winner should be:
MATT FREAKIN' HARDY.
Think about it. He never really got revenge on Edge for the real-life incident between them, and aside from Benoit, he's the only guy with enough talent on the SD roster who's healthy at this time. Give him the ball, and let him run with it.

Plus even if he doesn't win the title, it'd probably bring a much nicer conclusion to the way the feud first went (i.e., Matt wins a cage match @ Unforgiven '05 but loses the loser leaves Raw match like 2 weeks later)

If done with all but, the qualifying matches on PPV it could be a great PPV again. First round Matches (4 of them) Second Round Matches (2 matches) Champion Of Champions Match Finals of the Tournament (winner faces the winner of the Champ. of Champs match at Summer Slam).

Yeah they really should - the whole point of One Night Stand was that it was, y'know, one night. Anyway, I used to enjoy KOTR as a youngster, and would like to see somebody like MVP, Johnny Nitro or indeed The Sensei Of Mattitude win the tournament and get their title opportunity. Wouldn't be nowhere near as bad as when Billy Gunn won it...
