For those that read the SmackDown spoilers, you will have noticed that Batista had his leg taped up, and the reason for that was to protect a new tattoo he had got done
Hahahahahaha! Batista is so lame!

maybe it's incomplete? And it looks stupid right now, so he decided to tape it up.

Batista is so lame! Edge did the same thing for awhile, just with his shoulder. It's best to protect a tattoo so it doesn't get messed up and you waste money on it. I don't know why it's so lame.

Guys like Batista and Taker are going to look funny when they are old men and their skin isn't as tight and those tats are sagging.

Yeah, but by that time, there will probably be advancements in science and tattoo removal will be much easier. As for the sagging skin, well, I guess we all will start to look like Ric Flair once we hit 60.

As a person with a number of tattoos, I understand why he'd tape it up. It's so easy to accidentally tear off a scab, and that pulls the ink from the skin, leaving a scratch mark through it. I have a couple marks through, coincidentally enough, a tattoo on my thigh from uhh...things we won't detail here. I understand why they'd tape them up though.
As for the tattoos looking like sh*t when we're old....WE will look like sh*t when we're old, so it doesn't really matter. Who the hell do old people have to impress anyways. They remember how kick ass those tatty's looked back in the day.

Maybe it was a drunken tattoo that he regrets. Like the letters "JBL" inside a heart with an arrow going through it.

This probably some kind of tribal art of some sort.
When you think about it, how weird would Batista look without his tattoos? He'd be the most generic hoss ever.

As a person with a number of tattoos, I understand why he'd tape it up. It's so easy to accidentally tear off a scab, and that pulls the ink from the skin, leaving a scratch mark through it. Exactly. And for the first few days, you have to be careful of infections, so that's why it's smart to keep putting ointment on it and keep it covered. Anyone who says that's lame clearly has never had tattoo work done. You're entitled to your opinion if you don't like tattoos, but don't try and call someone out for taking care of their work.

It's pretty sensible if you ask me. If you notice the trible tattoo on Batista's right arm has two marks in it like he maybe messed one up a little once before.
