In terms of the initial return, I was at MSG when Triple H returned the crowd went friggin nuts. So that to be had a lasting impact on me.

Taker at Judgement day and HHH at MSG.
Oh and Stone Cold coming back with that chair to help Rock beat Triple H and like 10 other people, that shoulda been Wrestlemania right there...

Triple H in 2002, my god that crowd was electric that night. That was a POP.

For pure, "I can't believe it's happening" vibe, I say Bret Hart's HOF induction. After all the bad blood between he and Vince, I can safely say that I never thought it would happen.

Triple H definatley in 2002. The crowd was explosive. I've never seen anything recently compared to that.

the nWo. When I first heard they were bringing it back I was like oh crap, another horrible nWo stable, but I couldn't believe when Hall, Nash, and Hogan appeared on the titantron.

As great as Triple H returning in 2002 was, and I almost voted for that, I picked Matt Hardy's "ROH/Rajah" return in July 2005 when he attacked Edge from the audience. Came out of nowhere, and was awesome.

As great as Triple H returning in 2002 was, and I almost voted for that, I picked Matt Hardy's "ROH/Rajah" return in July 2005 when he attacked Edge from the audience. Came out of nowhere, and was awesome. Crap! I didn't see that one. If it matters, I actually change my vote to that, even though no actual discourse can take place. I remember that so vividly because the first time he attacked Edge backstage he looked too fat to be Hardy and after they played his music at the wedding I thought they were using an imposter. Also, I didn't expect it because no sites picked up on it, and this was during the time (which is also now) of being a critical "smark". I just wish they never flubbed that feud, they could have had a great thing going with it. I voted Taker's ABA return. As a kid, it was the most influencial. I was sorely missing Taker and he finally came back. And I refuse to acknowlege HHH's return as an even great return. The best thing about that is that we didn't have to see that f***ing "Beautiful Day" montage. I swear, I think 10 hours of WWF programming was spent on that one promo.

Kane coming back at the end of the ten-man-tag match on Raw between the Radicalz/HHH and Rock/Sock/Too Cool. The match was one of the best tag matches I've seen, and the ending with everyone beating down on the faces, DX coming out too, and then Kane comes out, having been missing for months and just DESTROYS everyone.

I say Mr Perfect because when he showed up at RR it was like he had never been away. The guy never aged, could still work and because i try to stay away from sites in the week up to the Rumble, was a suprise.
