So, the originals are now fueding with McMAhon instead of the New Breed and RVD is as good as gone.
The New Breed are fueding with CM Punk and eachother.
Is this the end of the storyline and possibly the end of both groups?

I kinda hope this is the end of both groups, it has kinda served it's purpose. And now that Burke is over as heel I'd like to see everyone solo and have some new feuds.

I really don't see how people can say that things ran it's course with the storyline. I mean, CM Punk joins up with the New Breed, and 3 weeks later, he's feuding with them? THAT'S buildup?!

it built up to the Burke/Punk feud who are WWEs 2 best rookies IMO, we still havent seen the payoff, i think they will put on some great matches.

The thing is, Dusty and the other writers pulled the plug on it because they felt that it wasn't going where they wanted it to. Its like, NO SHIT Sherlock, you all didn't give it enough time!! So, Punk's turn on the New Breed was actually supposed to happen way further down the line as it SHOULD have...

Exactly what I think they should do. Since Kevin is already out, he should go and make his own team of people. Maybe they could be Heat and Velocity people he converted to the darkside, ala Ministry. Monty should take on Snitsky in the battle of Boot vs Shoulder And for Striker, he should start seriously doubting himself as a wrestler. Suddenly, Tommy Dreamer starts helping him learning the true ways of ECW. Just my collection of ideas

This is incredibly rushed buildup so far. They should have had everything being all rosy and good in the New Breed for at least a month, not a frickin week.
And no i don't think the fued should end as no real line has been drawn under it.

Yeah Burke/Punk will be money. I'll tell you if they build this up right this could be a huge long feud. I sort of see Burke and Punk as being this generations Rock/Austin or Rock/HHH as in a feud that started early in there careers for the IC Title and also later in there careers for the World Title thats what made those two feuds were great later on since they had a long history with each other.

Yeah, instead of him all of a sudden having HHH-like power over the faction, leaving Burke with this castrated "WTF?" look on his face.

Punk and Burke can still have a great fued but I think the groups behind them are done. It better to finish the break up of the New Breed cause I also want to see Corvon solo, and as for Striker I get the feeling that he will be wish well soon.

i think Corvon was one of the big reasons this feud got sped up, i think they want to push him as a top heel that can challenge Lashley, he needs mic time as well.He will get over big if they let him talk.

Personally, I think they totally dropped the ball with the Originals/New Breed fued. I would have liked to see it go beyond the 4 on 4, or 5 on 5...whatever it is.
I was hoping for the entire ECW to be divided and at war, like the Invasion angle, or the NWO angle.
It could have been done better and now its over. I'm disapointed

I guess I'm the only one who liked this break up.
Punk joins, realizes immediately that they suck and aren't going to help them, declares himself his own man, and the group crumbles as the leader is checked by Punk. Now Burke can either struggle to keep his 2 remaining soldiers while feuding with Punk or at least blast Punk as the man that destroyed his faction.

Dude, I seriously felt sorry for him when he was being ripped apart by Burke. I think he could take that route and actually get over. Kinda like Dreamer 2.0, trying to prove that he can be hardcore.
