- Raw continues to dip in the ratings. Monday night's edition featuring the teased John Cena-Shawn Michaels III and an outstanding Edge-Randy Orton match, slipped to a 3.6 cable rating. Last week's show, scored a 3.7 rating, according to Nielsen Media Research.

So...two shows that people were very happy about...gets lower ratings.
My only happiness, you can't reasonally blame this on Khali since he didn't show up until the end of the show.

Rating increases don't happen overnight. There needs to be some consistency and increases would need to happen gradually.

There is no way a great show will magically boost the rating for the night, unless you got a million viewers all calling their friends to turn on Raw.

Rating increases don't happen overnight. There needs to be some consistency and increases would need to happen gradually. You are correct AND you sig is pleasing to the eye. The problem? How does a show that doesn't know the definition of the word "consistency" pull off such a thing? Still waiting on the hiring of the all impotant RAW GM. Remember that? They're all flash, boobs, and what the old man thinks passes for entertainment. That doesn't seem to be doing the job.

Update: - Earlier in the week, we reported that the 4/30 edition of Raw scored a 3.6 cable rating. The show did hours of 3.4 and 3.7, with a 5.5 share.

Maybe the "Whodunnit" did help some...or people didn't want to watch two "bad guys" fight.

Isn't Wrestlemania strategically planned to take place right before a predictable yearly ratings decrease?

Hopefully Smackdown doesn't do better than Raw, because then McMahon will pay attention to it and find some way to mess it up.
