Edge vs. Foley - WM22 was probably my fav match of the year. Watching Edge get thrown into thumbtacks and Lita getting a barbed-wire mandible (sp?) claw made me develop a newfound respect for the couple.
God, WWE needs to push someone better and more likable than Cena...he's been getting over like a video of cat-juggling.

PWI should really abandon kayfabe. That's not to say that they should become a smark magazine (though that would be cool), but they don't need to pretend that the matches are real. They don't need fictitious writers either. It's especially embarrassing when they have "heel" writers.

McMahon/Michaels wasn't even the second best match of the night.
Mickie/Trish and Edge/Foley were far far better.

Well, I will even buy VInce vs. Shawn as MOTY but BOOGEYMAN as rookie of the year. I know you can be 40 and be a rookie, but isn't being good a qualification too?

They weren't overly smarky but, weren't complete kayfabe either.

How come someone that is over 40 and useless in the ring get rookie of the year?
OK Boogey can be a entertaining charactor but that award should go to someone like Ken Doane.

Anybody who wouldn't vote for Bob Holly as Comeback of 2006 should seriously get a CAT scan - the guy's life almost came to an end, and when he returned, he didn't do anything stupid that brought a bad spotlight on the company.

PWI will often mention storylines and characters, yet they'll often present feuds and matches as real. This makes the magazine puzzling, as some things are real and some are not. It doesn't really work well. Although, they make good almanacs (even though they physically come apart after a few years).

I liked how WOW rated wrestlers on a scale of 0 to 100.

The readers of PWI voted on this. PWI isn't a straight kayfabed magazine like WWE Magazine is. It's just that the people who buy PWI are all marks.

I want to punch them in the throats. Also, PWI says their awards are voted on by the readers, but they might've just made that up. It could happen.
