Hansen's bodyslam of Andre was a lot more impressive than the Hogan one.
Awesome find.

Hansen's bodyslam of Andre was a lot more impressive than the Hogan one. Awesome find. It does help that Andre was FAR more agile in that match than he was in 1987.

Damn dial-up, I'll have to wait until Tuesday to watch it at the college. (I live out in the boondocks where cable and dsl fear to tread, about 632 miles Northwest of Parts Unknown) Hopefully I'll remember. I'll just type lariatooooOOOO! in the search box.

Wow, what a great match. He also didn't weigh eleventy gajillion pounds before 1987, either. Andre could go in his day. I had no idea how talented Andre really was. He was a great wrestler. Puts Big Show to shame.

Wow, what a great match. Andre could go in his day. I had no idea how talented Andre really was. He was a great wrestler. Puts Big Show to shame. When most think of Andre they think big slow lumox who could drink. Both Andre and Stan Hansen were legends in japan.I enjoyed the angry andre who goes for the loaded glove it was gold. Funny when you look back in time and find A+ Matches like that and compare them to today.(I'll try not to. WWE and TNA would botch this match up). Makes you wonder in 25 years what matches will be remembered as "Classic".
