All that hype, and the endless Lex Express crap, for a count out victory... shameful

That was really bad. I know they wanted to wait til Wrestlemania, but come on. Really bad booking in 1993.

This was the biggest ball dropped of 1993. Think what you like of Luger, at that time he was HOT, but Vince for some reason wanted to hold off his title win until Wrestlemania but by then people were bored with the waiting. A lackluster Survivor Series probably didn't help his cause either.

GOD VINCES ANNOUNCING VOICE WAS SOOOOOOOOO HALIRIOUS ANNOYING AND FORCED.
A good announcer has to have a voice that you can listen to without laughing and/or after a while end up being annoyed at. Vince dont/didnt. Not a good announcer...

Yeah Lex would've been the WWF[E] World Champion, but he blew it off big time. One thing I admired about Luger was his physique, and that was it. Iron Jericho.......He is the real doobiedeal, he shoots to make everybody humble.

Yeah after all the hype for Luger and actually having him over as the all american good guy, they should've just pulled the trigger and put the belt on him. If it didn't work, he could've lost it by Survivor Series or Royal Rumble.

The Torture Rack is sadly underrated. I liked when he racked The Giant, Roadblock or some other huge guy.

The rumor is that Luger was going to win the strap at SS but the night before he was at a bar, got blitzed, and blabbed that he would be champion to a bunch of fans (this is back in the days of kayfabe). Vince cought wind and came up with the new finish a few hours before and there you go. Whether or not that's true I'm not sure but I don't doubt it either.
