If I remember back in the federation years of the WWF there were segments on WWF television called "Update" and there was a place called "The Event Center" I was a bit confused with those 2 and I was wondering what the difference was between the 2 and how long did it run for, because I remember seeing those on TV but had no clue what they were talking about because I was only 6/7 years old when I was watching. Could somebody help me with what it was, please?

Update was a segment on Challenge and Superstars of Wrestling which eminated from the Event Center. They would run promos for local events and run the interviews of the wrestlers in front of the green screens. This took place for years, about 86ish to about 93ish. They used to run something similar after this called the "Slam Jam" with Dok Hendrix.

Mean Gene Okerland did Update, and Sean Mooney did The Event Center. Check it if you don't believe me.
