according to the dvd,the "no-no about mantioning previous matches,as oer hulk then why did page tell everyone "int he record books hulk, your 0-1 again this guy"
and it was advertised as hogan-warrior 2 on wcw tv,isnt that the same thing. though i got nothign but love for hulk....
as for ted's rant about warrior "Demanding he appear alone at a signing" and ted was there with sting, werent the heels and faces not supposed to be seen together at all? this dvd seems full of caca.

Yeah, I'm no warrior supporter but the Hogan thing is so dumb. Isn't the re-match factor the thing that makes the match interesting.

I think the point was that Warrior came in and people were excited about him facing Hogan.
Then Warrior comes out and goes "I already beat you 8 years ago"
so then what was the point of him challenging Hogan anyway if he had beaten him already?
it was like taking a big balloon and letting half the air out suddenly just to let it sorta droop.

No, it wasn't. The fact that Warrior and Hogan HAD faced each other before and Warrior had beaten him clean WAS the selling point of the entire feud. Hogan was just making **** up like he always does.

If Hogan had have challenged the Warrior then the clean win would have been a selling point with Hogan trying to prove something. But when the Warrior makes a surpise return and in the summed up non Warrior version says, "Hogan I challenge you to a match! I've already beat you once now I'm back for no reason at all to do it again and shock you with magic tricks!"
The logical way to do that would hype the Warrior return, have him come out and start to cut a promo and then have Hogan come out and say he wants revenge.

Hogan was just making **** up like he always does. But why would Warrior challenge Hogan and then say "I beat you eight years ago"? What motive would Warrior have for wanting a rematch if he already said he beat Hogan before...and why would fans get behind Warrior in that case? If Hogan had challenged Warrior, then fine, but it went the complete opposite.

Warrior was coming in, on behalf of the fans, to beat Hogan and, hopefully this time, take the wind out of the nWo's sails.

It was quite clear what Hogan was pissed off about. As people have said, Warrior was basically saying "I've already beat you once, you can't beat me" before the thought of the feud (in kayfabe) had even come into Hogan's head. Warrior was cutting a heelish promo for (at that point) no reason and taking about seven and a half hours to do it. Also I suspect he went WAAAAAAAY of script which is probably why Hogan looked like he didn't know what the hell was going on. If that was me I'd sure feel pissed off with the guy for totally blowing the big 'comeback' that the company likely forked out milliosn of dollars for.

Hogan is an idiot on every dvd. He never had a WWF feud with Jake Roberts because it just wasn't there in the ring, brother!

The logic behind it is the same as the feud with Piper. Hogan was never that scared of Savage, or Flair, or the Giant, because he had already beaten them. Then, Piper, and later the Warrior show up, and Hogan's scared shitless. Because those are the two people he never had a clean win over. So they show up to defend the fans, and the company, and he has no idea what to do.
It makes perfect sense to me.

Then, Piper, and later the Warrior show up, and Hogan's scared crapless. Because those are the two people he never had a clean win over. So they show up to defend the fans, and the company, and he has no idea what to do. It makes perfect sense to me. Exactly. If we weren't supposed to know that Warrior already faced Hogan and beat him then what was the point of even bringing in the Warrior? Because he was such a good worker? Ha! Might as well of just brought in some random jobber. Hogan was just being an egomaniac.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure on the Roddy DVD there's a scene in WCW of Hulk Hogan doing exactly what he whines about here.
Oh, and I'm even more sure he mentioned that he beat Andre the year before multiple times during the build-up to WM4.
This may seem like a bit of a stretch, but I get the feeling Hulk Hogan is a bit of a hypocritical liar.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure on the Roddy DVD there's a scene in WCW of Hulk Hogan doing exactly what he whines about here. Not only do Piper and Hogan BOTH allude to Hogan's not having beaten Roddy ever, they also ramble on about how they made the business by headlining Wrestlemania 1- on a WCW PPV! Yeesh. Anyway, you'd think if Hogan wanted to bury Warrior's WCW run, he could have just started at the opening seconds of their match and gone from there (the fireball; the spot involving Warrior not getting down in time for Hogan to leapfrog over him onto the referee, so Hogan has to wait, then step over Warrior onto the ref, which looks idiotic).

I agree with Hogan. Warrior just said, "I beat you already"
Okay..... great....... so what? Hogan wasn't the champion at this point, so theres no real reason for him to be there.
WCW should have had Warrior win the title and than have Hogan challenge him. They should have stretched it out until StarrCade and had Hogan go over cleanly!
than bam, Hogan's a major heel again, the nWo has the control, and you can just ignore the finger poke of doom, (which i marked out for) and WCW might have lasted longer!
