I tried to think of all the unique versions of the move (front DDT's only, back/modified versions like the Slop Drop and Asai DDT excluded)...have fun.

For some reason I really like how with Dreamer's DDT the opponent just hangs there for a second before falling over

For some reason I really like how with Dreamer's DDT the opponent just hangs there for a second before falling over I like Dreamer in general, but I love any time he's DDT'ed Rob Van Dam, how RVD goes totally vertical and just gets planted skull first. Also I believe it was Dreamer who piledrove RVD once sending him springing 3 feet into the air. That was hilarious.

It started and ends with the innovator.
Jed Shaffer ~Watch Jake introduce Steamboat to the concrete floor. THAT'S a DDT.

The way Knox sold Dreamer's DDT a little while ago, where he basically balanced on his head for 5 seconds, was great too. Dramer's DDT is my pick. Oh and Jed, you're right. I recently got and watched the Jake Roberts Pick Your Poision DVD, and that DDT that knocked Steamboat out was brutal.

Raven's will always be my favorite, because it looked like it'd generally knock people the fudge out.

Robert's is my all-time favorite. But Raven's DDT always seemed quicker.

Jake's was the best. You knew it was over when he hit it. Arn Anderson's looked great as well. Raven/Dreamer ddts usually looked pretty good. I'll give an honerable mention to Gangrel's implant ddt. It was one of my favorite finishers during the attitude era.

Jake Roberts. He made the move what it is. Actually, what it was, since the move has been watered down since then. Jake's DDT was wicked.

I kind of suspected this would come down to a Jake vs Raven affair.
For the record, I voted for Jake.

Jake deserves the credit here as the innovator. Raven's was badass enough to deserve a close second. But I was always partial to Mick's Double-Arm-DDT. That was just a cool move.

I love Lita's Swinging Leg DDT. When hit properly, it looks brutal, with the added momentum from her swinging one leg and then driving it down into an almost spike DDT.

I have a hard time choosing between Jake, Raven, and Tommy. So I voted for the original - Jake the Snake.

I'd give it to the 720 DDT. It's all the fun of a normal DDT, with unnecessary indytastic spinny goodness!
