source: blog.myspace.com/konnan619UPDATE ON MY HEALTH I want to clear up rumors and udate everyone that has been asking about my health. I was supposed to get hip replacement surgery last week in mexico and when they went to operate discovered my kidneys were badly damaged it could have been that they were bruised or that i had an infection and my immune system did not recognize it and let it attack my kidneys, believe it or not, this is fairly common. I am now on dialysis to clean out my blood and so i can go back next week and get my hip replacement surgery and my kidneys can be strong enough to get through the operation. But now i have another problem, i need a kidney transplant, i want to thank all those that have offered to help, my blood type is O positive, believe it or not u only need one kidney which is why so many people donate them to help others, if interested in helping let me know. god bless konnan.

Isn't O+ one of the rarer blood types? O in general is considered a "universal donor." Both o+ and - can be used over various blood types. However, Both O - and + are not so lucky. One of them can be used to help the other, but either - or + can only receive its own blood type, and there is one that can only have its correct -/+ blood type, at that. I used to know more about this since I used to volunteer for the Red Cross in H. S. and helped organize blood drives, but that was 20 years (and many bongs) ago. FWIW: I think "A/B" blood type is the "universal receiver."

Isn't O+ one of the rarer blood types? A/B is the rarest (as opposed to A, or B individually). O negative is the one that I believe can only receive other O negative donors. It's ironic, since it's the universal "donor" blood that can be used for a replacement for virtually all other blood types.

Does he really expect someone to just shoot him an email saying, "Sure I'll give ya' my kidney".

I wish I could but I already told Jake Roberts he can have my liver. Sorry. Maybe in 2008. Only one organ per wrestler per year. Unless you are one of the divas, they can have the main organ in my pants all year long. OH!

SOMEONE GIVE THE LEADER OF LAX A KIDNEY! YOU ARE A RACIST GRINGO IF YOU DON'T! What if I don't? Am white AND Mexican, what criteria would I fall under? Does he really expect someone to just shoot him an email saying, "Sure I'll give ya' my kidney". It doesn't hurt to try. You never know.

I know it sounds really cruel in hindsight, but I think he should've prefaced that message with "YO YO YO, LET ME SPEAK ON THIS..."

Wouldn't the prefered donor come from family first? Isn't that how it is?

He doesn't need organs from those dirty gringos. He'll only accept a donor from someone with true Mexican blood.
