From Gerweck.net:
The ratings are finally in for Raw, and this week's episode headlined by Rated RKO vs. Shawn Michaels scored a 4.1 cable rating.
Interesting note: it's the first time since August that Raw has gotten above 4.0.

Teasing a suprise return works.
Though it could backfire next week since there wasn't one.

Hmmmm...lessee...improve the quality of the product and the rating goes up! Hmmm....that's some wacky logic there!

I find it funny that the rating went way up the week after a Raw which the Internet bashed to death. I guess it doesn't mean much when all is said and done.
Also, I assume that the ratings are based on what people thought of the previous week, so I don't think the improved ratings had to do with knowing in advance that the show was going to be better (unless you live on the west coast and know from reading what happened that it's improved).

My thoughts exactly. I thought the ratings spiked this time EVERY year because of football.

Yeah, I think this has to do more with no more football than a quality RAW, though it WAS pretty good this week, for the most part.

Raw has that built in audience that are die hards. If their ratings didn't tank in the 2nd half of last year or early this year, I doubt they ever will.

Compared to last year, its disappointing...then again, it was Edge's first week as champion with a 4.5 rating.

Well it's a good thing that all of those people who said they were never going to watch Raw anymore stopped watching. It caused the ratings to spike upwards.....

I find it funny that the rating went way up the week after a Raw which the Internet bashed to death. I guess it doesn't mean much when all is said and done. The live crowds ripped it apart worse. Oh, but I forgot the cardinal rule of WWE. If anyone didn't absolutely love it MUST be an internet smark.

Bingo. People wanted to see the fate of DX. Next week the rating will be right back to where it was.
