Last night's Raw got me thinking about one of my biggest gripes about kayfabe. It's the fact that you have damn impressive former athletes, like Dean Malenko, Steve Keirn, and Arn Anderson, serving as road agents, but whenever a heel goes crazy and starts attacking someone, they just stand there waving their arms and yelling, doing absolutely nothing. Sure sometimes they'll get physical, but it never seems to do any good.
I think this falls into my gripe about every referee being a pantywaist who goes down when a wrestler looks at them funny.
Just wanted to get that out of my system.

Amen, brother.
I'd mark like an idiot if Dean Malenko suddenly snapped and put Orton or Edge in a nasty facelock to get them to leave poor Flair alone.

If Mike Rotundo had remember his briefcase they could have stopped Edge and Orton.

But then I laughed at "Tony Garea and Rene Goulet fans."

They arent wrestlers anymore, so there's no point getting them involved.

They arent wrestlers anymore, so there's no point getting them involved. Exactly. This is even more important to remember when you think that 2 of the 3 mentioned have serious neck injuries and that is why they retired. Plus what good would it do to have someone that hasn't wrestled in 3 years or more take down one of your active wrestlers and in this case top heels?
