I just got finished watching the new ECW: Extreme Rules DVD and for those who haven't seen it, Tazz and Joey Styles do host segments throughout the disc. Well after seeing him and then his match with Sabu on here from 1999 it made me wonder why they don't put out a Tazz DVD already.
I mean, his career is over, there's no need to put it off. So why not? Plus I'm sure they could get at least 2, if not 3 discs, worth of his stuff going all the way back to the Tazmaniac days and ending off with his last WWE run.
What do you guys think? Any matches you'd want to see included?

Yes. Please yes.
I'd also take sets for the Dudly Boys and Raven, but something tells me that isn't gonna happen any time soon.

They should just go the extra mile and start releasing old ECW Hardcore TV and PPVs (this goes for WCW as well) into big sets. They've made far more money to date off vintage DVD releases of ECW than they have with the new product.

I would like to see some WCW sets, but ECW sets might be a bit harder due to the people involved, with most of them being in TNA and on screen alot

I'd likely buy a good Taz set. To me, the guy may have been the best World Champion of the later 90's.

If anything, if would be a smart move, I think. It could be argued that just means that those fans will be putting their money towards WWE to see the Dudleyz/Rhino/Jerry Lynn ET AL in their prime. It's not like TNA is getting a share of the profit.

I've always wondered why they never release old ECW and WCW PPV's on DVD. Especially on the twinned classics format they have with the older WWF events (1997 Canadian Stampede, what would my DVD collection be like without you?) .

I'd love a Taz DVD as well as releases of older ECW & WCW PPVs. I'd buy those in a heartbeat.

I never saw Taz in ECW, actually I never saw ECW in its prime, but I HATED, HATED, HATED Tazz in WWF. I thought he sucked.
So, basically, I am not the target market for a Tazz DVD. I probably wouldn't buy one.

^ I'm in the same boat as you. However, I would love a Taz set because from the little I have seen, I would gobble up some old good stuff.

He was awesome in ECW, and for like the first 2 weeks in WWE,but I seriously doubt anyone apart from smarks and old ECW fans would buy it.
