I thought it was cool how when the H.P. got the mic, you started hearing Shane's voice as if it was him in the ring, then it cuts to the stage and BAM, Shane shows up. That was about the coolest part of the unveiling segment.

It was all a part of Austin Vs. McMahon, and this just upped the odds to like 28 Vs. 1, or something. I didn't like them joining forces, but they had some kickass entrance music; I'm glad they included it on the WWE Anthology CD collection. Oh, yeah! I love the Corporate Ministry's entrance music. Sadly the Anthology one is not the one they actually used for the entrance (no soundbites, and the song is at a different pitch). On top of that, it's apparently a "Federation Years" track (?!) Anyone else remember Bischoff saying the Higher Power's initials were "VKM" on the opposing Nitro? I don't remember expecting as much out of this as others. But there were some weird IWC rumors at the time...like that they would get someone to portray the resurrected Vince Sr. Or that Pillman or Owen's death was faked and it would be them.

This angle suffered from the same problem as the Black Scorpion: It was an angle that had potential, but since the bookers didn't think out beforehand who was gonna end up being the guy behind the mask, the payoff was utter crap.

I wonder if this angle will ever be redone on Rewriting the Book. I really enjoyed the alternate take on the "Who ran down Austin?" angle.
