The corporate ministry seems like such a dumb idea now. Why would a bunch of corporate assholes team up with the creepy goth kids? I don't get it...

Great angle with a very bad pay-off.

I think that Jake Roberts would've made the most sense. He was both an ally and a rival to Taker and was beaten and humiliated by Austin.

McMahon, and this just upped the odds to like 28 Vs. 1, or something. I didn't like them joining forces, but they had some kickass entrance music; I'm glad they included it on the WWE Anthology CD collection.

I remember them doing an awesome job of trying to cover it up through this episode (I still have this one on tape somewhere). I remember Vince coming out at the start of the show and booking himself to go one on one with the higher power in a street fight, and then Shane called him out right here in the video to come unveil the guy. I had a really bad feeling it might be Vince, but didn't think they would actually do that. But once he appeared on the titan tron once Shane called him out I knew it was going to be him. Man, great angle with a bad payoff.

I heard they planned to have Mick foley as the higher power, he refused. Though he doesn't mention it at all in "Foley is Good"

The corporate ministry seems like such a dumb idea now. Why would a bunch of corporate jerks team up with the creepy goth kids? I don't get it... Actually, there was a logical reason for the Corporation to join up with the Ministry. When they joined forces, the Corporation only had Shane, Triple H, Chyna, and the Big Bossman. They needed more guys. At the time, they were feuding with Steve Austin and The Rock; and so was the Ministry. So, it made sense to have Shane to get the Undertaker to have his stable to team up with Shane's stable against a common enemy.
