- TNA's Slammiversary is 6/17, the same date for AAA's TripleMania show at Arena Monterrey. Slammiversary is still penciled in for Nashville, TN.
- Jeff Jarrett has until the television taping after the May PPV to make the transition from NWA titles to TNA titles.
-gerweck.net, orginally from the Wrestling Observer newsletter
So that means no Konnan for Slammiversary and the titles will be gone by May or June.

I'm curious if they're going to come up with any sort of story to make the belt transition, or if they'll just try to ignore it and suddenly have different belts called TNA titles.
No Konnan at Slammiversary is a bummer. What's his current health status? I was glad to see he's able to walk with a crutch now. That's an improvement over being stuck in a wheelchair anyway.

Last I read, his hip was doing great as he is able to walk on crutches for a short period of time but, he is still trying to find a kidney donor as his mother was incompatible. Until then, he is still under going dialysis.

He was only in the wheelchair on TNA tv to make himself look like The Godfather (not the ho train one).

TNA should just say they're pulling away from the NWA and strip their champions, and then have tournaments. Maybe like the WWF title tournament at WM IV, and the person who was stripped of the title gets a bye or something.

TNA Sacrifice: Controvercial ending, Cage stripped of title TNA Slammiversary: KOTM match for TNA Championship so basically what they tried to do last year, but without giving the belt to Jarrett.

they'll probably just ignore it and start calling it the t.n.a title

Didnt Newz! sites say Tna had until like a week or two ago to change belts? The, when that deadline came and passed they said Tna had another week or so etc?

Nwz sites maybe, but PWI said it was coming in the next couple of months. With all the NWA things out about Christian being "the most wanted champions ever", I'd say they are well on their way to doing this.
