Well there's an AWA Power Pro Wrestling show real close to me, and I'm probably gonna go. I only recognize 2 names on the roster though, so any info would be super good. Here's the card:
Dexter Poindexter vs Gluteus Maximus
Student vs Teacher
Kamakazi Kid vs Ultra Dragon
AWA Power Pro Wrestling Tag Championship 4-Way Match This match will be a elimination match once a wrestler is eleminated he must leave the ring.
"Simply" Steve Green and Joey Silvia With Mgr. Ty Dillinger vs Dangerious "E" Corey Edsel and Versetti With Mgr. Sheik Lumpkin vs Tank Lawson and Rob "The Boogie Woogie Man" McBride With Special Guest Mgr. "BabyDoll" vs "Fat Back Enterprise" Mitch Connor and Donnie Dollars With Mgr. Brad Stutts
AWA World Light Heavyweight Championship Match
Champion Kirby "Krazy K" Mack VS Chasyn Rance
AWA World Tag Team Championship
Ricky Landell and Steve Corino With Mgr. Jonnie Stewart VS Unknown at this tIme
Main Event
AWA Power Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Championship
Over The Top Battle Royal
The Title will be hanging above the middle of the ring. This match will be an over-the-top battle royal, the last four remaining wrestlers will compete for the Title in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match.
Cham-Pain, Timber, "King" Chilli Willie, Ashley Walker, Jake Manning Solomon Spade, K.C. McKnight, Lee Valiant, Dangerious "E" Corey Edsel "Classic" Chris Collins, Jerry FN Wayne, Kyd Syde, Yuk, Kimo, Alex Adonis, Ostgard, Antonio Marinara, Bobby Houstin, Chris Guerrero, B.J Hancock, Derek Ryse
"Omega Brand" T.C. Brimstone and Bobby Burnett
Special Guest Referee "Omega Brand" Aaron Decker
I've seen Kirby before, and Corino is a f***in legend so that's worth the price of admission, but what about the others??

You probably know Chasyn Rance from his jobbing on TNA, he's got a big fanbase in Florida and I like him. Ricky Landell used to do a lot of ROH, he's pretty well known and a great talent. I was impressed with "Simply" Steve Green and Joey Silvia in matches I've seen, and Bobby Houston is a great comedy wrestler who has real ring skills. These last guys are "pretty indy" though; decide if you're okay with that!

Thanks for the info, I know I'm definatly gonna go, just wanted some info on the talent. And the battle royal seems a little cheesy, but the TLC match following has potential. Plus ringside is 12$! haha

$12 for the bright lights on that card is worth it alone. I like a bush league show now and then, but this one sounds big enough to have something for everyone.

Yeah dude, plus it's being held like 15 minutes from where I live, and it seems that's where this AWA promotion will be based out of, which is huge for me because I live in a small town in NC. Since I have people skills out the ass, I intend on trying to get involved with the show somehow since the promoter is on myspace. Might be time to start working out again.....

Good idea, that's exactly how people get connected to indy feds. Volunteer to work, be consistent and don't just do it once thinking you deserve a medal, and you'll get noticed. Good luck--

Yeah when I was 18 I was going to work with this local company, but I'm sort of glad I didn't because they ended up having lots of problems. But this seems like a more stable company, and I'm sure I can talk my way into being involved.

Yeah I kinda ignored the dudes comment about Corino, he's a f***ing ex ECW World Champ. That is good in my book. Also, anyone else got info on the people not mentioned yet?

Me love me some AWA.
Bring it back to the Cow Palace boys.

Well I'm reviving this because it's almost time for the show. Also added to the card are Christian York and Chilly Willy, which is cool because I have heard York is a great worker. Should be a great show, I'll do a write up and picture thing I usually do when I go to shows if anyone wants.
