Dude, I wouldn't have called Sonny Siaki or Hector Garza cruisers by any means, and they were in the X Division for a while. Sonny Siaki just looked HUGE by comparison, he's really 220 He was listed at 245 and currently listed at 247, but that might be inflated. There are lots of wrestlers in the "near cruiser" weight class who wrestle as heavyweights.

I would sincerely like to hear a kayfabe explanation for the X division. If there are no limits, and the only other singles belt is the Heavyweight Championship, then shouldn't the X division belt be more prestigious, being defended against all comers? It'd be one thing if the rules were different. I remember reading somewhere long ago, maybe even on the WC forum, about the rulebook of pro wrestling. Included were injuctions against climbing the turnbuckle, as well as the more familiar "no closed fist, no choking, etc" rules. The X division would make sense if it had a more flexible rules system, but people do sometimes do top rope moves in the HW division, too. I generally find the X division matches more exciting than other TNA matches, but I'd like the division to make more sense.

(wipes away a tear) Until rather ecently, the X Division belt WAS more prestigious, online with the NWA heavyweight championship. Then it tripped over bad booking.
