Haha wow, I didn't even know the triple tier cage was used more than once. Pretty hard to follow.

Ah yes, I was actually there that night. Reunion Arena in Dallas, Tx. I was sitting right behind Tony, Madden, and Borash about 3 rows back.
That cage was awesome to see up close like that I must say. The match was confusing as all hell. But I still had fun watching it once I figured out what you were supposed to do.

Ernest miller was supossed to be on the face team (he was kinda hanging around Booker at the time) but russo had all the faces in "qualifying matches" beforehand and the Cat lost to Kronik so they got in.

Did the wrestlers even know what they were supposed to do? It looked like Steiner and Booker T were the only ones who understood the rules. But I marked for Nash actually using logic and waiting by the door. BUT, I was wondering why someone didnt just climb down the side of the first cage and to the floor, the way the Harris Boys got up there. But no one was ever in that position with the belt anyway.

What happened with Kronik they just kinda walked off to the back with the Harris Bros for no reason.

I remember back then I was like 10 and just accepeted like whatever WCW put out, and I wanted to go so bad, but couldnt get tickets. I still thought they were awesome back when it was really bad, but now looking back I can see it was pretty bad alot of the time...

What happened with Kronik they just kinda walked off to the back with the Harris Bros for no reason. They fought to the back. They were feuding at the time and actually were in a bar fight earlier in the night at a bar in Dallas. Good segment there.

You'd never see a match like that not on PPV these days. It's amazing looking back how much got aired on free TV just because of the Monday Night Wars.

I like how they had a corner camera in the second cage and when they went to it, it look like the arena had a lighting problem. It got dark but you could see what happened.
The cage had so muc h patential in being something good but never was booked right. The idea was good but the wrestlers never made it look right. Plus the fact it build as two team but really was it a free for all. If they made it like that were every man was for themselves. It would make more sence.

"Kevin Nash is the smartest man in professional wrestling!" -QFT
I loved WCW for giving away ppv main events on tv. When was the last time Vince put on a hell in the cell title match on tv?

By the way, did anyone else think that the second cage looked like the floor was gonna give way?

"Kevin Nash is the smartest man in professional wrestling!" -QFT I loved WCW for giving away ppv main events on tv. When was the last time Vince put on a hell in the cell title match on tv? Probably the Kane/Mankind HIAC that took place on Raw during the Attitude Era. He has no reason to do that now. There is no reason to waste a match like HIAC on free TV for a desparate ploy at ratings.

I remember actually thinking Nash was full-face that night beforehand.
Also, it had Bret Hart appear and knock out Goldberg, so I like it.

What the hell was Nash doing? Just standing around then he decides hes okay with Stiener/Jarrett/Russo, then he wants to powerbomb Russo?
EDIT - Oh yeah I forgot about the ending, for some reason I thought it was the one where Goldberg spears Russo out of the cage at the same time Booker walks out, but then I remembered you had to walk out with the belt in your hand so I didnt know how that was gonna work till the ending. I shoulda remembered that since I have it on tape and watched it kinda recently...if 3 years is recent...

That was one big clusterf***, Russo at his finest there. I bet it won't be long before we see something like that in TNA.
I thought WCW 2000 was horrible till the end of the year around Starrcade, is when I thought things were starting to get better a little. Greed, Sin and Superbrawl 01 were pretty decent PPV's.

It make more sence on what Nash is doing if you see the whole show. Nash was acting it turned out was Mad at Russo for putting the title on the line. He acted like he was going to do something but it was a Russo Swerve all along.
I to also saw the floor of the second cage was going to fall. If they build that floor like Hell in a Cell is now. It would been fine.
