I remember a few years ago I was watching a tape of a Thunder from like 2000 or something, and there was this huge battle royal between the New Blood and the Millionares Club, was like everyone fighting, and like a bunch of people returned and stuff, like Randy Savage. Anyone know anything about the match and when it happened and stuff?

I believe it took place right before either Slamboree or Great American Bash of that year. I remember that Ric Flair won it, for a shot at the title by eliminating Shane Douglas, and Bret Hart came out of nowhere and laid out Hogan with a chair. Also, I believe that was Randy Savage's last ever appearance for WCW.

I remember that Battle Royal too, I didn't have cable at the time so I watched the recap of it on Worldwide. I marked for Savage's return helping Flair of all people win the Battle Royal. WCW was really in the s***hole at that point, though I liked the PPV's in late 2000-early 2001 and thought WCW was improving at that point before the end.

Yeah I remember it. I remember Randy Savage returned after being gone forever and helped Flair win and looked like he was joining the Millionaires Club. Instead, he's never seen again.
That was pretty much WCW in a nutshell.

I liked the PPV's in late 2000-early 2001 and thought WCW was improving at that point before the end. WCW was unbearable to watch near the end. Cleveland All Pro Wrestling is more enjoyable and that's my cure for insomnia.

Nitro from 99 is my cure, personally.
This was on the go home show for Slamboree 2000. It was to determine the number one contender to face the WCW Champion at the Great American Bash. Flair forfeited the shot to wrestle David, but recieved one on May 15th anyway.
He held the belt long enough to have a heart attack, and 7 days later he was stripped.
(My 2,600th Post)
EDIT: Need to go watch Nitro from June 28, 1997. Should be exciting
