As my avatar clearly shows, Nash took the "oh s*** I'm injured again" approach and went right to the ground. Any other selling of this may have proved futile.
Kudos to you Mr. Nash, you sold like a god.

I remember thinking this was hilarious when I saw it. I still do.

It turns out that this finger poke title change wasn't even planned, it was just supposed to be a rude poke.
Unfortunately the slight push ended up causing Nash to blow both quads, causing him to collapse.

Actually there were two good things about the match:
The second being that nobody had to see Nash and Hogan wrestle.

I'd like to go back in time and rewrite history and say that Nash and Hogan were set to have a 20+ minute technical masterpiece, but Nash tore his quad so they had to change the whole thing on the fly.
Seriously, just watch it over and over and imagine Nash yelling "ARHGHG MY QUAD!" and its so much better.

I marked when it happened. I loved the nWo and hated that they broke up into two groups. So to find out that they were all back together made me happy.

I marked for the Wolfpac, it was just 5 guys (well 4 after Savage went down the injury in June 98) who were over and kicked ass. I thought it was super dumb to put them back together, that's probably one of the few things in wrestling that pissed me off.

Nash sold it brilliantly. ;D It's also a pretty damn good tutorial to show newcomers to the business how to fall.

It was not a bad idea to go back to the original concept, it's what they did with it. None of them wanted to be beaten by Sting again or more importantly Goldberg.
I think Goldberg killing the NWO would have made 99' profitable, think each PPV would be him taking down one peice at a time until the Starrcade re-match of he vs. Hogan.
No let's have him fight Bam Bam for the tv title or some crap.

It's like they wanted to relive 1996 all over again with the 2 groups joining together, which lasted about 2 months anyways, then WCW got even worse when Stevie Ray and Vincent were having a match to see who would lead the nWo (or what was left of it) at Uncensored 99.

I'm pretty sure the crappy black/white stayed together longer then the red/black super group also.
Why didn't they kill it angle wise instead of not talking about it. The amazing amount of things WCW could have done to make money that they did not advance with so as to not hurt feelings.
