Just got home & it was NOT the best Raw I have witnessed live. The crowd around me was annoying. Nobody knew who Nick Bockwinkle was. An idiot in front of me asked what HBK stood for. This fat chick next to us spilt her soda, thus making the floor sticky. Heat was the only good thing of the night. And my friend did NOT get his match tonight.
Eugene lost to Kenny Dykstra
Charlie Haas lost to some new guy, sounded like he was named Colby Kingston
Shelton Benjamin beat Val venis
Highlanders beat IZW's own Navajo Warrior & Hawaiin Lion John Williams
Trevor Murdoch lost to one of Crimtyme
The dark main event was Shawn Micheals & John Cena retaining the tag belts against MNM when Coach ordered the match. There were no hints of anything & HBK & Cena both did a "You can't see me" & 5 knuckle shuffle on MNM.
Foley, Bischoff, & Shane were nice suprises.
The reason the women's match went into the back is so they could change the ring mat during the commercial from Austin's beer. And we saw nothing during the commercial break. This match was a big letdown.
Other then that, you pretty much saw what we saw.

Crap, good point. Kofi's thing could have just been a dark match, which would suck for me, because I'm a huge Kofi mark.

Wonder if WGTT will ever do anything. Probably not if Charlie Haas is jobbing to unsigned people....funny having Kingston appear to beat him tho.

Interesting note: Haas came out with his own video, music, & just announced as Charlie Haas. Shelton was out with World's Greatest Tag Team video, World's Greatest Tag Team music, was cheered by the fans until Val came out, & announced as 1/2 of the World's Greatest Tag Team.

What kind of an entrance, if any, did Kofi get, Toomi? Does it look like he's getting called up anytime soon?

Yes, it does.
He had Jamaican music as well as an entrance video. He was given mic time so the fans could figure out who he was.
See, Phoenix fans are morons. Yes, I said it. They boo'ed him until he got on the mic, talked about living his dreams, & gave props to Phoenix.
And when Haas came out, they realized, "Oh, hey...we are SUPPOSED to like him."
Although, he did have the very first match of the night.

Ok, then yeah it was a dark match. And it is refreshing for WWE to book a foreigner as a face (without getting TOO insultingly stereotypical in the process).

Nobody knew who Nick Bokwinkle was? That's disappointing.
