Wait I thought he was loved? I swore I heard "Lashley Sucks" chants and after Kennedy's offense stopped I heard boos I might be crazy.

It wasn't nearly as bad tonight as it was at (I think No Way Out). Kennedy always seems to win fans over during his matches with the champions.

Can you imagine what Vince would do if Lashley gets booed at WrestleMania? He would literally crap his pants.

Lashley has been getting booed, but more people are obviously cheering him. I think he's very over.. but not nearly over enough to get the push he is getting.
Lashley has got the biggest mega push I have ever seen. People were drooling at the thought of Batista as World Champion when he won. Brock Lesnar atleast got over BEFORE he started winning World titles. I can't think of another person who comes in, proves nothing, and immediately gets treated like he's the biggest draw in wrestling.
It's honestly pretty damn mind boggling that Vince would pick BOBBY LINDSEY of all people to be the main face of one of the biggest mainstream wrestling angles ever. Way to go, dumbass.

In all honesty he does have much else to pick from. No Angle, No Lesnar, No Rock, No Austin, No Foley, No Hogan, No Christian Cage, No HHH, and No Chris Jericho. So really who else could he pick.

Brock Lesnar atleast got over BEFORE he started winning World titles. How can two contradictory statements be so close together in a post? Doesn't anyone remember 2002 at all? Doesn't anybody GIVE A S**T ABOUT THE RULES?!??!?! MARK IT ZERO!!

No, Lashley most certainly wasn't getting booed. They were saying "Ooooooooooooooohhh", and were in awe of his intimidating yet humble nature, with his soft spoken, family values, and ass kicking hardcorocity!

Oh and having Ric Flair would turn me off the match even more come on that has no reality to it.

Doesn't anybody GIVE A S**T ABOUT THE RULES?!??!?! MARK IT ZERO!! Brock Lesnar got over just as fast as he was being pushed, if I remember correctly. I'm not going to lie and say I study hours wrestling tapes to prove a point, so I totally expect you to come back and point out that he got booed when he was supposed to be cheered for 10 seconds on Smackdown one time or something, but from what I can remember, he got over with his push. People are warming up to Lashley now, but by the time he won a World title, he was barely recognizable.

And the 'Lashley Sucks' chants they were merely referring to Lashley's ability to drink Strawberry Milk threw a straw really fast. Man I'm spinning so much that I feel dizzy.

I dont really get all the Lashley hate, he is getting a push but it's not like he has won the 2 belts that really matter. He is ECW champ and that belt is only a small step up from the US title. So he really is just an upper mid card guy who is facing another guy who is also an upper midcarder. When he goes to Raw and wins that belt and takes Cena's spot then thats the time to be hating him.

I'd say part of it is the fact that, for me anyway, his angry face is the same one my seven year old neice givss me when I tell her to clean up her room.

Brock Lesnar got over just as fast as he was being pushed, if I remember correctly. You don't. Unless by "over" you really mean "Somebody Other Than Goldberg". I don't ever recall Brock being booed as a babyface (although he was on Smackdown, which is taped and known for being edited) but he was pretty much an apathy magnet without the tremendous hype and push. Keep in mind that as a heel, the fans couldn't outright deny his push; "a 'Lesnar Sucks' sign? Good! Not enough heat? Push him harder!" Essentially, Brock had the image of a monster, the credentials of a high-class mat-wrestler (although he seldom showed it anyway) and victories over nearly everyone on the roster, including Hulk Hogan. And this was before he won his first world title. Again, claiming that Brock was over before his first title win is a shaky judgment call because as a heel he wasn't causing every crowd to riot or anything, but his image was pulled off and people seemed to buy into the hype. Nevertheless, he never proved anything at all. To quote you again, "I can't think of another person who comes in, proves nothing, and immediately gets treated like he's the biggest draw in wrestling." If you think the Lashley hype is bad now, you should have been around for the Lesnar propaganda. If there's a difference between the two, it's that Lesnar didn't sound like a prepubescent little boy and wasn't an 'Extremist' who drank milk and kissed other men. ...Well he did, but not all the time.

I remember the first, probably 4 months of the Lesnar super mega ultra push, fans were chanting "Goldberg" at him.
At least Lashley was eased in. He came in and had a little angle with Simon Dean, made him eat some cheeseburgers, all good fun. Took a while and then eventually got the US title for a bit.
Lesnar comes in, destroys the hole hardcore division in about 20 seconds and then single handedly demolishes the most over tag team on the roster. Wins KOTR like a month later. Beats the s*** out of RVD a couple times, makes Hulk Hogan pass out and smears his blood all over himself, and then beats the Rock clean for the title. Thats all in his first 5 months.
I honestly dont think Lesnar was that over until SummerSlam 2002, and that was mainly at the Rock's expense because the NY crowd pissed all over his, come back from filming and take the title for a few weeks and then leave again, title run. And the Lesnar love stuck after that.

Lashley's super push makes Cena look beatable by comparison. His match tonight against Kennedy was ridiculous..

Lesnar>Lashley in my view and always will be. I just wish there could have been a Benoit-Lesnar feud cause that would have ruled
