Lashley has been getting booed, but people are either booing him or cheering him. I think he's very over.. but no nearly over enough to get the push he is getting. Lashley has got the biggest mega push I have ever seen. People were drooling at the thought of Batista as World Champion when he won. Brock Lesnar atleast got over BEFORE he started winning World titles. I can't think of another person who comes in, proves nothing, and immediately gets treated like he's the biggest draw in wrestling. It's honestly pretty damn mind boggling that Vince would pick BOBBY LINDSEY of all people to be the main face of one of the biggest mainstream wrestling angles ever. Way to go, dumbass. In all honesty he does have much else to pick from. No Angle, No Lesnar, No Rock, No Austin, No Foley, No Hogan, No Christian Cage-- Stop. Stop right there. Even if he came back from TNA after his "amazing" solo run, he still wouldn't be in the main event for anything in WWE. Likely, he'd feud with guys like Kennedy, or he'd be fed to Lashley as well. Don't kid yourself.

Except maybe Cena and Batista but they are defending the World Titles so that wouldn't have worked.

If I may revert back to the Brock Lesnar comparison:
Lesnar was over in large part thanks to his manager, Paul Heyman. Heyman was already hated by WWE audiences, and then he brings in this monster who he promises will destroy the entire WWE roster. Lesnar, never good on the mic, at least had a mouthpiece to help him get over. He never had to talk, and never even spoke a word on the mic until a few months into his WWE run. He simply had to let his ring skills and awesome strength shine through.

Lashley is as frightining as a fluffy newborn kitten. Maybe his voice is, but I wouldn't exactly be putting moves on his girlfriend, if you know what I mean. But comparing him to other WWE monsters, your statement rings true.

i didn't see the show but i am not surprised at all. People wonder why the wwe's new stars have been getting booed or crap on so much and the truth is they really aren't that good. Compare Cena, Orton, Batista, and Lashley to the stars from a few years back when wrestling was more popular. Honestly do those guys compare with the likes of HHH,HBK, Bret, Angle, Austin, Rock, Jericho, Undertaker or Mick Foley (i assume those guys are the biggest names of the past 10 years). The answer is no the current stars all lack the "great" qualities of those names. The past stars all were good to great wrestlers, had truly larger then life personalities, each looked different and stood out, had a unique charisma and their own special "it" factor, able to connect with a broader audience whether they were heel or faces then just a few young kids and new fans, and for the most part better on the mic. when they were heels they got booed and the crowd hated and when they were faces they were loved and cheered.

Lashley is indeed the new Cena. They have him "overcome the odds" like Cena and he gets mixed reactions like him. Next thing you know...Lashley will have his own WWE movie "This summer, Bobby Lashley is....The Meter Maid" "You parked your car by this parking meter and you didn't put any change in it. You're getting a ticket because you're a bastard."
