You know, your dad has just died and you don't think it could possibly get any worse...

Bad taste. Wrestlecrap. Never really found it funny. It's this kind of thing that if you call it "just a storyline, just entertainment" leads to stuff like the whole Eddiesploitation scenario.
Don't get me wrong. If you dig it, don't mind me. I just see where actual tasteless storylines sprung forward from made up storylines like this.

The only part about this that I found funny was Bossman dragging the casket around.
Because it's wrestling, I didn't find it improper to laugh at it.
But the other angles, like convincing Show's mom to say he was a mistake and such......that was lame.

Big Show looks like a supermodel compared to how he looked when he retired.
I have always marked like nobody's business for the Bossman. I reallllllllly wanted him to get the title. Oh well.

I found the entire angle reprehensible, I honestly did. Now people will say "yes, but the Big Show must have agreed to it in the first place, for it to happen" as if that in some way makes it alright.
Show may have agreed to allow the angle to play out, but that still doesn't excuse the fact that someone, somewhere actually sat down and thought up the whole idea of using someone's recent bereavement as a suitable storyline for a wrestling feud, or that someone, and I'm looking at a member of the McMahon family here, gave the green light to proceed with the angle.
I don't consider the Bossman/Show angle to be Wrestlecrap, as in my eyes, that dignifies or validates it in some way. I simply view it as one of those occasions whereby someone should have had the balls to turn round and say "hang on, this isn't right. There may be comical elements in there that would raise a chuckle, but the bottom line is that this simply shouldn't happen."
The only good thing to come out of it all, IMO, is that Show finally got to hold the WWF title, but I would have preferred it if that happened under better circumstances.

Yeah that angle was so lame, and really tasteless I felt. Yeah Big Show got the title but the whole feud concluded with a 3-minte PPV squash match basically, and that was it. It did deserve to be inducted as it was crap (the funeral scene, locking Show in a room with noxious gas in it, Prince Albert being apparent the whole time etc).

Wow...I remember this. Pretty low idea for a feud.
Big Show was in great shape back then.

"With the deepest regrets, and tears that are soaked, I'm sorry to hear your dad finally croaked. He lived his life on his own terms, soon he'll be buried and eaten by worms. But if I could have a son as stupid as you, I'd wish for cancer so I would die too."

Stealing someone's dead dad is definitely pretty heelish.

Ah... they could've made the height of Bossman's heel-dom better than this. Lol @ the 1:37 mark though.

I guess I'm the only one who thought that feud was one of the funniest things the E has ever done.
When he shows up in the cop car... priceless.

I guess I'm the only one who thought that feud was one of the funniest things the E has ever done. When he shows up in the cop car... priceless. The angle was in horrid-taste but I still thought it was funny. Bossman was a hell of a heel, the funeral was just classic. If you are going to do something in crappie taste you better do it well or you get crud like Katie Vick. Eddiesploitation was in such bad taste that even much-better writing wouldn't have saved-it.
