This is from wrestlingnewsboard.com
PWInsider is reporting that one of the reasons why WWE made a decison over the weekend to pull the scheduled Four Way Ladder Match for the WWE Tag Team Titles at the No Way Out PPV this Sunday (a rematch from the Armageddon PPV in December) was because Vince McMahon no longer wants The Hardys and MNM teaming right now.
McMahon wants to keep Jeff Hardy, Johnny Nitro, Matt Hardy and Joey Mercury in singles roles on their respective brands right now and putting them together as a tag team off and on isn't something they would like to continue. Well, we say this now as they could change their mind at any moment seeing how quickly this one was made over the weekend.
It should also be noted that another reason for making the decision was that the feeling internally was that having a Four Way Ladder Match for the tag titles was meaningless, so they decided to put the new Deuce & Domino tag team in the spotlight to challenge Paul London & Brian Kendrick for the titles this Sunday at No Way Out instead. Again, WWE may still put The Hardys and MNM back together in the coming weeks or months, but as of now that is the plan they are going with.

Why, exactly, does Vince and his crew hate tag teams anymore? How long until Cryme Tyme is split up? I'd only accept it if they split them up and one adopted a Malcom X type gimmick, such as Teddy Long tried with Rodney Mack and Jazz. Not like Shelton's occasional claims of racism. I could see Shad doing it. Getting a haircut, a shave, dressing in black suits, white shirt, skinny black tie, and coke bottle glasses. I shouldn't be giving the "E" any ideas.

I think tag teams have just fallen from favor in pro wrestling in general. Its not like TNA is a haven for tag teams these days either.

That's true. I just don't understand the constant teaming of singles competitors to hold the tag belts. Either establish a solid tag division or just do away with the belts entirely. The way things are going, there probably wouldn't be much fuss.

The way things are going, there probably wouldn't be much fuss. I used to think it was cool when two singles superstars would, on rare occasion, win the tag team championships, but they've done it so many times now, especially recently, that all it does is cheapen the belts. I really miss the days of teams that had true tag-team identities, and to be fair, I actually do like London & Kendrick, Cryme Time, Deuce & Domino, and Cade & Murdoch if only for the reason that they are actually TEAMS (though, other than Cryme Time, they could use clever team names).

I agree with the post yesterday that said the Ladder Match idea was pointless.
1) London and Kendrick have lost so many times now that it doesn't really matter anymore.
2) Why have Deuce and Domino beat the champs twice and then not at least add them to this match?
3) The only logical winners of this match were London and Kendrick or Regal and Taylor because....
4) If the Hardys won that would mean moving Jeff Hardy (Raw's Intercontinental champion) to Smackdown or
5) If MNM won it would mean moving Nitro and Melina back to Smackdown when they were pretty much blackballed from there in the first place.
