He'll come and go a few more times, I'm sure. The problem is, nobody knows what to do with him, or whether he should stay a face or a heel.

no, because they screwed his charchter up when they first made him a face. Although the only other time he was cool was Bookdust.

His character had pretty much ran it's course for me by the time his tag team with Booker ended. Well, I'd even say before that, but the Bookdust combo did wonders in refreshing him.
I'd be content with him never returning full-time, but one off appearances and Royal Rumble entries are a must as long as he is in shape.
Many people don't give Goldust the proper amount of credit. He planted the true seeds to the more risque wrestling TV before anyone ever muttered the words "Stone Cold."

I would mark for Goldust being back, he rocks.
His character was always good for a laugh and he was always over. Plus his entrance theme was brilliant

I never really realized, why is it spelled Goldust? That would be like "Gol"-"Dust"...

He was a head of his time, but his time has past as well, unless they bring him back like how he debuted.

The comical Goldust wasn't something I liked... but the version where he was hitting on Razor? That was GOLD. Creepy, yet entertaining.

I remember being real frightened of him as a child when he debuted.
Unfortunately he's one of those guys nobody can work out how to use past the lower-midcard level.

Creepy, is-he-or-isn't-he gay Goldust was the best. I wasn't a big fan of the last incarnation that we saw of the character. Then again, I did like the Artist Formerly Know As Goldust.
