Any PPV can simply end with the main event's pin fall, but when it comes to Wrestlemania, the show needs to have a much more significant closure. Sometime's it's shocking, while other times it's symbolic. There are great times in which it's highly emotional and an appropriate closure to a great show or a great year.
So today's question is which of the listed Wrestlemanias had your favorite ending? The ones that aren't listed, at least IMHO, didn't have any significance to how they ended or leave people with a sense of shock or surprise. The ones that do appear here may either be fondly, and easily remembered or have some other important relevance to it.
For me, my favorite is and will always be Wrestlemania XX. Three years after it happened, I still find myself watching Triple H tap and an emotional Eddie and Chris hugging.
So again, don't just look at these as simply who got the final win, but what the ending represented or how it came off.

It's close between 20 and 4 for me. I'm going with the Megapowers, because despite how much I've disliked Hogan for a few years now, I can always go back and watch that period and get some enjoyment out of it. Hell, The Megapowers were #2 on my top tag teams list for that thing we're doing here. And on top of it, Savage won the title!
Least favorite should be obvious, 9 was terrible.

Benoit and Guerrero in the ring. So goddam poignant now.
Followed by Austin winning the title, and Austin turning heel, since I did not see that coming.

X. Nothing will beat seeing all those guys celebrating with Bret Hart, only to see Owen stand there in the aisle shaking his head.

Hands down for me it's Wrestlemania XX ending. The emotion of Eddie and Benoit hugging as Champions, it gets me everytime.

I put them in at 25 as a throwaway because I thought noone else will include them. Well one vote at #2 is probably enough to get them on the list. I too voted for it on this poll. It was a great one year turnaround for Savage, going from top heel to Hogan approved.

Maybe because it's fresher in my mind, but the Benoit/Eddie ending was fantastic

I Know it's a popular one but XX for myself as well. To work your backside of for your whole life and still get to the top of the mountain is inspirational and has to be the most genuine emotional ending to a Mania

Honestly my top three go like this:
(1 Guerrero and Benoit both are champs at Wrestlemania and celebrate in the ring. Cool Moment
(2 HHH retains with the help of Vince McMahon people were livid and pissed! One of the few moments I went holy crap with and people were in shock that this happened and Vince was a good guy before this happened and thought he was righting a wrong but was an ultimate set up to screw over the Rock and creating the McMahon-Helmsley Administration and people throwing garbage in the ring was an awesome moment that I will never forget it was like Bash at The Beach 1996 all over again.
(3 Wrestlemania X-I loved that moment because earlier in the night Owen beat Bret and "injured" his leg and was remarkable he was able to beat Yokozuna, than all the faces came out to celebrate with him which cemented him as the face of the WWF at that time. Than Owen came out in disgust and you saw an epic blood feud would start which was one of my favorites of all time.

Wanted to vote for Wrestlemania IV because I love Macho. But the Wrestlemania XX ending was real life, and it has a special resonance to it now. My vote went to XX.

I loved HHH back in 2000 and was so happy when he retained because I really didn't expect it.

Im going with Wrestlemania 14. I was huge Austin mark back then and this moment to me brought in the Attitude era.

I voted for WM IX. Being a Hogan mark back in the day that was awesome and unexpected!
Runner up for me was 14. I cant stand Austin now but that was when he was still fresh and exciting.

It's close between 20 and 4 for me. You sure it wasn't between 4 and 20..... ;D As for me, I'm going with XIV. You could feel the company changing direction with that finish, and it turned out to be quite an era. It seems as if the IWC is a lot bigger on stuff like Owen/Bret and the Guerrero/Benoit celebration than the average fan. I wonder what the average wrestling fan would vote for. Probably something Hogan/Austin related. Any guesses?

The little kid in me says III. I was at XX, and that was so freaking awesome, it was ridiculous. Top 3 would be 20 first, 3 second, and the mania with Hogan and the Rock would be third. was that 17 or 18, I was on a wrestling sabatical at the time.
