He doesn't beat Batista or Cena for it. Really. I'm tired of Edge feuding with just ONE GUY while having the title. Because, hey, they're obviously not gonna have him keep the title past either one of the guys he beat for the belt, i.e. he would end up losing to Cena or Batista in the end anyways. Seriously.
But a feud with someone like Undertaker, King Booker, Chris Benoit, or someone new. ANYBODY NEW!
Also, the RAW main event is screwed, cause I can't think of a legit main eventer who hasn't feuded with him in some way or another within the past year.
Ok I'm done.

I think if he gets it he'll feud with Orton. Not that this is necessarily what I want to see, but what I think will probably happen.

I don't think he's feuded with Batista yet, at least in terms of the main event.

How about Edge vs HBK if Edge wins the mitb ladder match and HBK wins the title?

How about Edge vs HBK if Edge wins the mitb ladder match and HBK wins the title? absolutely.....however my gut tells me Super Cena retains the belt

I don't think he's feuded with Batista yet, at least in terms of the main event. Yeah, but he might as well be feuding with Super Cena. Seriously, they won't take Batista out of the main-event picture to make room for Edge be the top heel. They have so many heels that are main-event worthy already.

Im not down with Edge getting the championship ever again. If he got bumped back to the midcard, i'd be just fine.

Edge could always beat Lashley for the "ECW" World Championship (he's said that he wants to win the title eventually). Although, that might turn him babyface.

...if he switches to Smackdown and feuds with Taker, after the fact he wins it at WM23, so he can start clean on a new brand with a new feud. Otherwise I won't really see him as a fresh champ on Raw, since there might already be too much "chasing" at one time. - This would be ideal to me, yet I know it won't happen.

Okay, okay. I can put up with Edge winning, as long as it isn't against Cena. I mean, they would be getting into the double digits as to the # of times theyve went at it. I might actually tolerate him on Smackdown...they need a heel anyway...but I'm convinced that Orton might be the guy over Edge.
Or he can win it on ECW. Not considering ECW's lack of popularity, his persona and style would fit the bill to a T. He would be quite the spokesperson for extreme...oh GOD now I am sounding like them.
