Ok, I hope I'm not going mad. But I remember reading about a "Gates of Hell" Match on a news site years ago. I only had limited internet access then so never heard anything else about it. If I remember correctly the participants were apparantly going to be the Rock and the Undertaker and it may have been for SummerSlam around 1999/2000 ish. I honestly don't recall if it was a decent news site or a NEWZ!!!11!! site but is this ringing any bells for anyone?

Read about that in WWF Magazine's 'The Informer' a total bullcrap column i remember that. it was that bloke who would drop hints as to spoilers which, oddly enough, never seemed to materialise.

Thank God for that. I was worrying about going senile. I'd rather know it was all crap if it meant someone remembers it. And now off to the pub to kill some more Brain Cells.

I totally dig the name. I picture the goal being like an ambulence match except you drive the ambulence into hell.

To win you have to chokeslam your opponent through the ring. Since when Big Show chokeslamed Taker through the ring, JR said Show had chokeslamed him STRAIGHT TO HELL!!!!!!
