I was just reading the induction of KOR 95 of the cornation of king Mabel and this made me think of Lashley. Both guys are big wrestlers that no one liked and management thought that they would be the next big thing but yet the fans chanted boring and ECW and booed and both were pushed very hard to the top although they were not liked by the public. Also both had very bad promo skills and one got a world title shot at the second biggest event in WWE, Summerslam and the other became ECW Champion and almost won the King of the Ring.
The only diffrence is wrestling style wize since Mabel was immobile while Lashley can move. But other than that the comparison is very apt in my mind. Except that Lashley might be main eventing Wrestlemania. Vince never had the balls to push Mabel that much for that and also the fans would have cannablized him!

Its cause their black isnt it! JK Ha! That made me laugh. No it isn't I'm saying there pushes were similar. Like if 95 Mabel got transplanted to today I see him being world champion today everything about there pushes is basically the same. |

I think Lashley will fare better than Viscera. he's already got a world title and has the build Vince likes.

I like Lashley. Don't call me no one, lest we battle.
And Lashley's wrestling skills are light years beyond Mabel's.

I think Lashley will fare better than Viscera. he's already got a world title and has the build Vince likes. If Viscera(Mabel) could have done the goggly eyes of Doom he would be world champion today. I love that he is a jobber now just for that crap uber-super push they gave Mabel. Seriously Taker or HBK should have won, hell I wouldn't have minded Savio Vega I always felt Savio was underrated and was lightyears better than Mabel and while I'm at it I bet today he is a better wrestler than Lashley and his "domminator" |

Except Mabel got squashed in nine seconds by Deisel on the New Year's RAW when they figured out it's not happening. There's no way they'll do that to Lashley.

Lashley would have to flop like Nash Pluto, The Panic Channel, and Crystal Pepsi combined in order for Vince & Co. to feed him to the wolves. They've invested far too much in him (an entire federation for starters) just to let him die. |
