I still don't get why Vickie agreed to be an on-air performer. Did Eddie die broke? Did Rey and Chavo convince her? Did she think she was honoring Eddie by doing it? THIS DOES NOT MAKE SENSE

I'm wondering if there's some sort of payoff to her friendship with Krystal and her coyness.
I certainly hope there isn't.

I still don't get why Vickie agreed to be an on-air performer. Did Eddie die broke? Yes he did. Very broke, he owed several hundred thousand in back taxes I believe. She has said in some interviews that Vince offered her the money that was left on Eddy's last contract but, she didn't feel right just taking it and asked to work for it. Plus being backstage with Benoit, Rey, Chavo and the rest makes her feel closer to Eddy since they were all family.

Well if Vickie wanted to work for the money rather than just accepting a handout, I have no problem with that. But couldn't she have earned the money by doing something else like selling merchandise from the concession stands or something? Did she have to earn her money by exploiting her husbands death?

Unfortunately, the answer is YES. Or, at least, from her perspective. But I've lost any and all respect for those who agreed like they have to such a disgusting storyline.

she wants to be part of the business her husband had so much at heart and devoted his life to. I see absolutely no problem with that. Is someone gonna come in here and state that she doesn't love Eddie because she's doing this? I personally don't like her as an on-air performer, but really can't hold anything against her for getting involved. If anything, I'm happy for her

She works for WWE at most 2 times a month. They can go with her (which I believe they do for PPV. I think I have seen them in photos on WWE.com) or stay with family for the night. Its not like she is traveling like everyone else.

If Vickie's earning what was in Eddie's contract, she's probably the highest paid female on the roster.

But couldn't she have earned the money by doing something else like selling merchandise from the concession stands or something? Did she have to earn her money by exploiting her husbands death? True. Sticking her behind a gimmick table is far less demeaning. Perhaps she'll soon be promoted to the person who cleans the canvas after shows. Ultimately, she's the widow. She is probably at liberty to go as far with the character as she's comfortable. I'm tired of every mention of Eddie Guerrero turning into OMG EDDIESPLOITATION!1! I made a thread about this re TNA and Eddie, and people scoffed at the notion. It's either Eddiesploitation, or it's not. The brand is irrelevant. And if it isn't, then leave her alone. Though, I must say, the person who suggested HLA has a totally different definition of H than I.
