When I first saw this, my first though was "which time?"
In reality, probably around 4-6 times. Late WCW probabl added on.

Stinger blew out knee in a cage match and they invented this "the horsemen jumped him after the show" angle to cover it. It wasn't so bad. I remember seeing it in the Corpas Christi Caller times and they even showed pics of Sting strapped to a gurney on the way to a hospital. I was so pissed at the horsemen. Another time Sherri Martell was Sting's valet but turned because of Flair

It was supposed to be Flair vs. Sting at Wrestlewar 90, but since Sting was hurt, it ended up being Luger vs. Flair again.

Flair, Arn, and Ole kicking Sting out of the Horsemen was a great angle. Flair's deranged "Get out of this business! Get rid of that contract! Get out of my life!" rant was great. He then gives Sting an unbelieveably stiff slap.

I swear he did say that once or twice, and one of those times in late WCW he fell for it.

At some point in 1995, Flair turned on Sting in a tag match against Arn and Pillman, I believe setting up that particular incarnation of the Horsemen, and being turn 172 for Flair on Sting.
When Shawn and Flair were teaming up last year, I was really hoping for a production guy to run up with a phone and go "Shawn, Sting on line 2."

I was actually believing at the time this was just a angle to get more heat on the horseman, turn Luger into a face and have this big Sting COMEBACK at the Bash and win the title. It was only about 3 years ago,I discovered Sting really did get injured.
