Dave Meltzer reports that Impact on Thursday night scored a 1.1 cable rating.

The way I look at it...with advertisements of Angle/Sting and saying that Eric Young's friend will be revealed makes me think that they might break the 1.2 barrier next week.

I doubt it because they don't advertise outside of their timeslot... Spike barely advertise TNA but god forbid if UFC has only 8 ads per hour.

Yeah! Yippeeeeee! Soon enough they might actually do a 1.5. Seriously I liked impact the other day. They actually made the electric cage match look good with creative editing. Still Russorific but for those of us too cheep to buy PPV's the highlight reel was good

I taught the electric cage looked good until they touched it, I was expecting FMW style explosions off it but all we got was sound.

But it doesn't really matter what happens, just as long as people watch it!

Even the biggest marks ever know that wrestling main events on free TV get cut short within 3 minutes via run-in. It's like knowing porn has nudity and math has numbers.
Don't dispute this, you are wrong.

Yep. And people still pay to boo him. Hey, I didn't say the matches were good. I just said they don't all end with run-ins. Although, in honesty, this isn't the best week to discuss this. Raw: Michaels interferes, Superkicking Edge and Cena wins. ECW: CM Punk interferes, RVD beats Burke. Smackdown: Finlay attacks Taker, Taker beats Kennedy via DQ. Still, the majority of the weeks, you can be guarenteed a lack of "Here comes [insert name]!" during the main event.

Speaking of WWE, I haven't checked but there must be a thread about their big rating dive lately. It must have something to do with that "old school" wrestling booking crap they've been pulling. How else do you explain losing .5 of your audience over a few months without football on?

RAW got a 3.7 this week. Were they getting 4.2 before?

RAW got a 3.7 this week. Were they getting 4.2 before? The high was a 4.3 on February 26 and the average for the year is 3.9 This trend falls right in line with this time of year and the build up to Wrestlemania and the after effects.
