Just ordered this today. Wanted to see how it all started. Is it good as a whole? I have only heard that the main event was good.

I can probably name off full cards from the 04-07 shows, but in this case I can only remember the main event off the top of my head for EOHB. That being said, the main event is phenomenal. Let me go take a glimpse at the rest of the card to see what was on there...
OH OK, there are two other matches on there that are very good. Eddie Guerrero vs Super Crazy, and Jay Briscoe vs Amazing Red. The rest if I recall is more or less filler.
It's weird watching the 02 shows again, because seeing how professional looking their production is now and how they look like a big deal when they have shows in the Manhattan Center, it's hard to believe they got their start there. The show is in between two basketball goals in a gym. Looks really cheap. Place has come a long way.

The main event alone makes it worth the price. It was just amazing, still the best 3-wat match I've ever seen. PHOENIX SPLASH!!! Eddie and Super Crazy put on a very good match, too. MGH is right, Jay Briscoe vs Amazing Red was also pretty good.
Other things aren't so great, but are kinda fun to see how far the company's come as a whole. Homocide was little more than a cheap New Jack ripoff in a Halloween mask back then. He came to the ring weilding a fake chainsaw while the announcers screamed. There's also the infamous "Towel Boy" moment that's now an official WrestleCrap inductee.
But I still think it's worth buying, especially now at a lower cost.

I had totally forgotten that Homicide was in the Natural Born Sinners. Comparing his RoH gimmick of the gangster/whatever of today to being a black Slipknot/New Jack/ Texas Chainsaw Massacre rip-off is funny. And the finish of the match they were in (vs. Drake & Tobin the Boogie Knights) was Homicide beating one of the BK with a rubber chicken. Definite Before they were Superstars material.
