I didn't watch it...was Timbaland as stoned as he was on Raw? Cause that was comedy gold there. He was talking to RVD backstage. You tell me. And RVD looked to be the more alert and aware of the two, by far.

I wasn't impressed by ECW at all last night.
Bobby Lashley is terrible on the mic and should never talk ever. I tired of seeing Steven Richards and job and the 8 Man Extreme Rules match was that great and I really hate the Extreme Expose.
But the sad thing is as bad as ECW was last night it was still better than what Raw did.

I think we're well beyond the point where Sabu could take anything, the guy tapped out to Cena's STFU, been beaten by Big Show's chokeslam, Umaga's Samoan Spike, and I'm sure a s***load of other finishers. That's true. But something about the finish of that match just reeked of LAME! I took it as Sabu's head crashing through the table and into the turnbuckle post that did the majority of the damage. Not the knees to the back.

I think we should all just be thankful that a table was broke in the finish, and no one was pinned when Kevin Thorn bent his +1 Vampiric Staff of Draining (bought on clearence at Party City) over their heads instead.

I actually enjoyed this show. I watch ECW regularly, but find myself tuning in and out during the whole hour. And the main event kept me glued to the TV. And I kept rewinding the Elijah/ Sabu spot. It was crazy.
Now, I normally don't do this, mostly because there are so many people doing it that I don't want to be a part of the fad...but god damn, I HATE Lashley. You know, I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. Hell, I even tried convincing myself I should like him just because he's Black, and he's on top in a sport where minorities being at the top is not the norm. But Jesus f***ing Christ, don't give that man a microphone! Man, I would have risked getting my ass kicked by him just to slap the holy hell out of him and to tell him to SHUT UP! I can not stand him, and can not wait until he is no longer on the main event scene.

Post of the day. And the show, for me, was drek up until the main event which was the best thing ECW's done in months.

Ok, Punk beat a jobber (has Stevie ever won a new ecw match?) a guy nobody likes beat another guy nobody likes, tons of promos and Wrestlemania recaps and a pretty entertaining Main event. "Great" wouldn't be how I describe the show, "Saved by the Main Event" would be how I describe it. but that's just one mans opinion.

Indeed, Stevie Richards defeated Balls Mahoney thanks to help from Kevin Thorn months ago, and pinned Rene Dupree clean at the December to Dismember dark match.

That's true. But something about the finish of that match just reeked of LAME! Yeah the finish didn't sit right with me, it looked like someone was going to break up the pin but no. Then all the New Breed, especially Elijah, just magically stop selling the beating they received during the match. Yeah that pissed me off too. Hell, STRIKER remembered to sell the fact he had just had the crap beaten out of him in a hardcore match somewhat, meanwhile Elijah's like "No I clearly didn't have a chair dropkicked into my face, no siree". Don't get me started on Thorne either. He should've been staggering from the beating he took at the end of that match. Other than that I thought the match was great, and I shouted like crazy at my screen when Burke put Sabu through the table. I don't know why it just looked vicious him delivering a double knee strike to Sabu and Sabu crashing headfirst through the table.

Lashley = Battletoad? Holy crap, I know that if I get to go to an ECW event I will try my damnedest to get that chant started.

I thought it was smart to have The New Breed win the main event....It actually makes the feud more interesting because they aren't supposed to be as "hardcore," and now each side has a win in the other team's type of match.

ProsLashley. Christ this guy is boring. To be honest, I turned on AMC (the channel above Sci-Fi for me) for his segment. I want them to know that Lashley don't draw no ratings. He's just a big Battletoad. A Battletoad that had a lobotomy. Hey, he does kind of look like a Battletoad.

He says his name is Zitz and he can think as well as fight.
I say his name is Zitz, and...well, you know where I'm going with this.

I haven't seen it, but from the sounds of things, this'll be the first WWECW I'll have watched since August. I mean, an Extreme Rules Mania rematch, Snitsky, and STEVIE!!!! Even though Stevie lost, I'll watch it. It's not often we get to see him (But him and Punk must have faced each other about 5 times now, will they ever put Guido or Balls out there?).
If New Breed/Originals is really as good as everybody's saying, I might mess around with my video and replace the Mania match with it to make it seem like a proper Mania quality match. I'd like an Elimination Falls count Anywhere match between the 2 teams eventually, either at Backlash or, if they draw it out enough, ONS3.

I thought it was a good lil show.
I never thought about it till just now, but besides the gloves there, the Battletoads walked around nekkid.

I really enjoyed ECW last night, it made me mark out several times...I still wish the NB hadn't beaten the Originals, I know they won at WM, but still...(I know I'm in the minority here, too).

Come to think of it, Macho Man might have been Rash. It'd explain his voice.
