In regards to Mick's Make-A-Wish surprise next week, I don't know why, it might be the way they advertised it on the show last night, but I have this bad feeling that they're going to do something terrible next week, like have Vince come out and bully some kid with cancer because he's bald from chemotherapy, or have Umaga destroy someone.
I pray to god it's not the case, but I just have this horrible feeling about it. I hope Mick would know better than to get involved with something like that.

I had the same feeling. If they were going to do something like Make- A- Wish wouldn't they do it backstage or something? Before the show or whatnot. I don't think Mick is stupid or that much of a dick to have the WWE do something like you suggested.

Yeah, me too. I honestly dont know whether WWE could pass up this opportunity for so much tasteless heel heat. Like I said in the live thread...
Special wish = BRAIN CHOP!

Possibly, but if the NEWZ sites are to be believed, then Mick won't be anywhere near WWE for a while since creative is upset with him for the "scathing" comments he made about them in his book. (and by scathing, I mean "annoyed at the stupidity of Brian Gewirtz", but at the same time putting him over as an overall talented guy. Foley DID take too many chairshots to the head)

It wouldnt surprise me if Vince did it, but I'd lose SO much respect for Foley if HE went along with it.

Khali's about to brainchop a kid in a wheelchair when the Ultimate Warrior unexpectedly runs into the ring, bounces off the ring ropes a couple of times, shakes them violently then leaves again. Khali's brain explodes in the confusion, leaving a foul and bloody mess over the freshly decorated canvas. Foley challenges someone in a monkey suit to a guts eating competition. Ron Simmons prolongs the silence before saying "damn!" across an entire ad break.
Cena puts the kid in the wheelchair in the STFU at Wrestlemania 24.

Yeah, they wouldnt just do a feel-good, help some poor kid segment with no heelish assault would they? They save those for when the cameras cut off. Foley wrote about a terminally ill kid that they brought to the ring after the cameras cut off. He had his own WWE title belt, and the crowd blew the roof off for this kid. Sadly, he died a few days afterward. This was during his feud with Orton.

We can call someone boneheaded, but until we work with them regularly, we can't have a very solid reasoning on how someone works. Gerwitz wouldn't have the job if he wasn't talented, but he's made some head-scratchign decisions. How much that's him and how much is the system around him is anyone's guess. Again, pobody's nerfect. But if this does go down, I am going to have to give some serious consideration to stepping away from WWE permanently. I'm all for parody and stuff like that, but something like this, if it goes the way I think it's going to go, I don't think I can be a party to that.

I wouldn't put anything past them..but would the Make A Wish people let their name be used in such a way?
Unless of course..the kid's with is to be used in a wrestling angle..which if i were young and sick I'd probably like the fact I'd be in a wrestling angle.

He'll rethink his wish once he finds out the angle they came up with is having him join the Vince McMahon Kiss My Ass Club.

They probably shouldn't assault some kid with a terminal illness but I laughed when Vince kicked out Zach Gowen's fake leg from underneath him years ago.

And here's the issue: Someone high up in Creative won't see it like you do, and therefore will green-light it. And if it does happen, then that's more of a low than Katie Vick, Eddiesploitation, and Eugene combined and magnified X 10000.

The WWE can't be that stupid. They have finally been getting some positive press, and just to throw that all away for 10 minutes and piss off a TON of people, wouldn't be worth it.

They could debut some new guy from developmental and say it's someone who is dying of a terminal illness, and his last wish was to wrestle for WWE. So WWE agreed to give him one match, but SUPRISE, he's good! So he becomes a full time wrestler.

Knowing Steph and her Crack Creative Squad, They'd probably make him shave his head, sit in a wheelchair, and then have Hardcore Holly come out to repeat the beating he gave him during a Tough Enough taping.
