...the Originals won. Yeah, great, you got your moment, Tommy. Happy? Frankly, they should have put over the New Breed. They have to establish that WWECW is able to create it's own stars and not keep trying to feed off the past.
Now it looks like a bunch of old dudes just beat some of the most talented guys that roster has to offer. The nostalgic act has to end.
IMO.

I think that might be the last time you see them together like that, IMO.

I can't believe the Originals won. I thought for sure the New Breed was going over.
Also, they should have made that match Extreme Rules.

They have to establish that WWECW is able to create it's own stars and not keep trying to feed off the past. They can't, though (or are at least unwilling to). That's why they send crappy wrestlers (like Striker) there. It's a glorified penal colony. Incidentally, since the New Breed has beaten the Originals almost all the time it doesn't hurt for them to lose in the payoff match.

I like the originals because it's just one win to make them successful as they would have been if WWECW didn't become a disaster. ..But I had the New Breed on my fantasy team and now I'm pissed.

Some people have the philosophy that the younger guy/team ALWAYS has to win NO MATTER WHAT. What fun is that?

A Sabu win is a Sabu win, so it´s no BS.

Some people have the philosophy that the younger guy/team ALWAYS has to win NO MATTER WHAT. What fun is that? That's because it makes more sense, in some cases. The WWE has no interest in pushing any of the Originals, and this could have been a good opportunity to get some young talen over. It would have really helped the careers of Burke, Striker, Cor Von and Thorn if they got a win over four former ECW Heavyweight champions at Wrestlemania.

Thorn lost his Wrestlemania debut.
I am sad.
Striker did make everything look like death though. Daggone if that monkey wasn't awesome. However, when I realized that he had been tagged back into the match, I knew that the New Breed was screwed.

I was on the "New Breed is going over" bandwagon too, since the Originals have all been made to look like the lowest of jobbers for the entire run of the "new ECW". I was surprised, but hey, it's standard booking theory. Heels win all the time up to the payoff, and iin the end, the babyface team gets the one big win.
