the narrator's voice sounds familiar. i'm sure it's at the end of the clip but im too lazy to wait for it to load up.
Who is it?
BTW, it seems to be a sort of smear campaign on modern day wrestling, with all the old guys lamenting the disintigration of the business

Yeah, it's Steve Allen, former wrestling announcer turned Parents TV Council spokesman during their war with the WWF.
But, yeah, I have the original broadcast of this and the host of the show confims it's Steve Allen.

It's so great to see interviews with Lou Thesz. He was such a wonderful asset to wrestling with his knowledge of the very early days. As much as the WWE HOF isn't real, Lou Thesz should get a spot in it just to educate some younger fans as to who he was and what he meant to wrestling.

This is still the best wrestling documentary ever produced, at least in my opinion. Great find, especially since I can't find this on DVD anywhere. I'd try A and E, but they have a tendancy to overprice their stuff.

yeah its steve allen doing the narration which is funny because he was a member of the Parents Television Council a few years later. Steve Allen was dead a few years later...and Mick Foley hates him, too.

He was 81 when he died.
He seemed to object to Attitude which isn't all that surprising really.

This is a great piece of work. All the old-time material is great, shows how far the business has traveled. I can't get enough of that stuff. And it shows how the business can never return to those days again.
