I met Hillbilly Jim last year on the Road to WrestleMania tour. He was very nice . I told him his theme song is one of my all time favorites. He laughed and said he's happy so many people love it.

Hillbilly Jim has pretty much constantly worked for the E since he signed with them in 84 or 85, I've met him twice-SUPER nice guy, and he wears tracksuit type stuff, and a lotta bling

Wow...kind of sad seeing Layla being the main attraction as she's only been on WWE television for a minimal amount of time compared to Hillybilly Jim and Gene FREAKIN' Okerlund.

So doesnt Tony Garea,Rene Goulet,Blackjack lanza etc and you dont see them that hard up. not that anyone today would remember them today. how they remember hillbilly is beyond me.

Hillbilly was a pretty prominent face gimmick from the Hogan era. Garea, Goulet and Lanza are just 3 old men who were minor wrestlers in their day (Lanza, not so much, but Tony and Rene...yeah)

Now that I've recently started watching early-80's WWF stuff, I'm seeing these guys actually wrestle.....which is just weird...
