I was watching some Hardcore Hangover and got to thinking, doesn't Dreamer's constant attacks on the "giant" of ECW seem familiar.
Because RVD got busted, Dreamer would keep calling out Big Show and taking a beating, always coming back for more. Whatever plans between the two were aborted when "the incident" occured and Show took the title.
Now, Dreamer is in the middle of a battle with Khali, where the big man constantly tosses him around nearly "rebreaking" his back. Then Tommy has an interview to say how he will keep coming because "That is what I do."
So, I am wondering, did they just decide to give Khali the part of Big Show? It really appears that way.
Or, are they just building Tommy as a guy who will fight anyone, even giants. If that were the case, I'd think they'd bring up his confronting Big Show...

Just so long as Tommy beats his ass at some point. An underdog angle is useless if there's no payoff.

The Double E loves that stuff. Remember Big Show v.s. Rey? Undertaker v.s. Jeff Hardy? I've got an angle! Tommy Dreamer fights the biggest hosses the Double E can provide and if he loses, he has to drink a cup full of cigarette butts and three day old beer. (Remember THAT old gimmick of his?) Thomas longs for his days on Wall Street. He used to be a very good stockbroker until the president of his company fired him and he dropped a copy machine on his chest. THAT'S where the violence started.

I was really enjoying Dreamer-Show. I was hoping it would lead to Dreamer managing show, making him genuinely extreme. Not "My god Tazz! Dreamer's never been beaten as badly as he was by those four punches and a cobra clutch backbreaker!" extreme.

Yes, because Show actually could toss around Dreamer ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) . In all seriously, if that rumors is true, Tommy will be jobbed out to the "Future Of The Sport", Captain "I Am Hired Because I Am Very, Very Tall" and then he will go to wrestlemania, straight to a wrestlecrap induction.
