WCW wants to trade Ric Flair and $5,000,000 in cash for the Undertaker. In the trade WCW not only gets Marc Callaway but gets the Undertaker name and gimmick.

Sting for Undertaker would have been a more fair trade.

tough call...but interesting concept. I still want to see a goldberg-taker match, not for wrestling value...and flair vs foley and austin back then wouldve been awesome...but taker was way over in wwe and was the top dog for much of 1997...so no.

Sting for Undertaker would have been a more fair trade. Not in '97. That year-long biuld-up would've gone staight out the window.

I say bad. Flair was over, but his best days were far behind him. The best part of Taker's career (IMO) was still to come.

WCW would have dropped the ball big time. They'd probably change his entrance music to a retarded Kid Rock song and give him a white trash biker gimmick. coon

Good for who? It'd be good for WCW in the sense that it could give them a killer angle (I can see Sting "bring Undertaker in from the Dark Side" to claim the soul of the evil Hollywood Hogan, until Undertaker eventually turns on Sting too) but lose their most recognizeable home grown star, and good for WWE in that Vince has always pushed Flair...but no Taker would suck.

I think WCW wouldnt trade way back in any case but if it was then I think Lex Luger for Salvatore Sincere would be a good thing
